“A wonderfully peaceful and charming home with a warm host”
+This was one of the most peaceful places I've stayed. The house is incredibly quiet ,I actually thought the owner had gone out in the morning, but she was simply in the kitchen! If you're looking for a restful stay, this is the perfect place. The host is absolutely lovely and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. She kindly allowed me to use the kitchen to prepare my meals, which I really appreciated. And, of course, a special mention goes to her adorable cat, Luna, who made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the house itself is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. It feels warm, elegant, and genuinely homely. Parking couldn't be easier either. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so there is private parking right in front of the property with no hassle at all. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and charming place to stay.

“Wonderful stay”
+I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. I originally made a mistake with my booking and reserved only one night instead of two. Fortunately, when I arrived, the room was still available, and the owner, Georgia, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She prepared everything immediately, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional: warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The beautiful four-poster bed and the carefully chosen décor gave the impression of staying in a historic country house or small castle. Everything was furnished with great taste and in a way that perfectly suited the character and history of the property. The room was also wonderfully quiet, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The ensuite bathroom was spotless and equipped with everything I needed. On my second evening, I had some work to finish, and I was able to use the dining room comfortably. The whole house has a peaceful, cosy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and feel at home. And finally, an extra bonus for cat lovers: Luna, the resident cat, is absolutely adorable and knows exactly how to

“Gorgeous house, couldn't recommend more.”
+Absolutely stunning house. I felt genuinely privileged to be able to spend the night in such a beautiful home with such character and charm. Georgia the host was as welcoming and helpful as she could be, and Luna the gorgeous cat gave me the best greeting into the house.

“Great host, comfortable & unique space - we'll be back!”
+Beehive Cottage is absolutely lovely, and Georgia was a fabulous host. The house itself is, as the pictures show, extremely old and full of character - staying there felt like a real treat. Georgia was always quick to respond to any questions, but we also had plenty of space and privacy. The house is surrounded by trees and garden, and despite being in the middle of things, was surprisingly quiet. We felt like we were in the countryside, which we were not!! Luna the cat was a very welcome and friendly addition.
−As others have mentioned, parking is tight but really not a problem!

“Would happily stay again.”
+A great stay. Very friendly couple (and an over-friendly cat! 😂). Perfect for what I needed. And very comfortable. I wish i'd have had more time to spend in the house as it's age and history is fascinating.
−Location was a bit of a struggle to find, and tight parking. If you have a huge car or struggle with tight parking it's useful to be prepared. Also the bedroom door is very old and there isn't a lock. I was totally fine with this but I expect some people might be a little more wary. It's a niche property for someone who likes history, is happy with cats, doesn't mind low ceilings and tight parking. That's all part of the charm of the place.

−Although not a problem for us, you'd need a car to get anywhere other than the local pub.

“A hidden gem, great place for an overnight stay and very reasonably priced.”
+Lovely little cottage and a great room with a comfortable 4 poster bed, downstairs has a large living room with a TV with Prime and Netflix. Didn't get to meet the hosts but communication was excellent.
−The only negative was that there is no lock on the bedroom door, whilst this didn't bother me and I felt perfectly safe and secure during my stay, it may be an issue for some.
