+The property was clean and cozy.
−My room door was broken and beeped all night. Someone wedged a shoe in the door to muffle the sound, but I still had to deal with the hallway light shining in and couldn't sleep. I finally gave up at 5:00 AM and sat in the common area until I left. It was very frustrating that there was no overnight staff. With self-check-in starting at 7:30 PM and no employees around until 10:00 AM, I had no one to ask for help with the issue.

“Convenient place to stay in Bangkok”
+The hostel is part of the Bed Station chain and there's a Bed Station nearby. It's the quieter of the two hostels, so if you're looking for a quiet transit, it works well. As others have commented, not as social. Location is near two 7-Elevens and 15 min walk to three giant Siam malls and the famous MBK mall, which all have plenty of shopping and food options. On the cheaper end, there's street food nearby and a few restaurants across the main street. It's easy access to/from BKK via 30-45 min on SkyTrain Phaya Thai Station (45 THB) and walking about 15 min. There are escalators to street level, but some steps to deal with.
−Stairs to different floors in the hostel are very narrow, without railing, so scary, especially when hauling luggage. Make sure to take it slow and use the walls. Currently, there's the new Orange subway line being built, so lots of construction nearby, but not a bother at night.
