“Stunning location, facilities, and rooms. A true break!”
+The location was impeccable and stunning! We were there for our wedding, so we didn't get to spend much time at the facilities like we wanted, but everything was beautiful, in perfect condition, and just stunning. I loved the fresh, different flavored water each day. We didn't a hear a peep from other guests or rooms.
−The hotel is not ADA compliant and that's difficult for some people. The lighting the rooms is not great. I was on the ocean front so it wasn't that bad, but my family was on the opposite side and their rooms were very dark.

+We had a great time in this amazing hotel. You can't get any closer to the beach and the views been superb. The room was very spacious and modern Beds been very comfortable and all was very clean and in well thought through. The breakfast ("petit breakfast") was really outstanding and the very best we had on our entire US Roadtrip. The pool area is nice, pool was heated and sunbeds all the time available. There are nice fire pits on the pool for the evening to sit and enjoy. The beach service is unique: you come, tell your need and they set up your chairs, umbrella and what you need. We could not imagine a better hotel for the final relaxing days after our trip.
−The pool area was only available till 09 pm which was a pity as the firepits couldn't be used after this time. Also, the pool was a bit dirty and not as clean as all the rest of the hotel.

“A Superb Weekend in Carlsbad, California”
+Beach Terrace is located directly on the beach and also has a large pool. My friend and I were able to park right across the street from our room and check-in was easy due to the pleasant and expert staff, who gave us restaurant recommendations. Although we were in the building closer to the street, not the beach, our room faced away from the street and we could see the water from our balcony. We could hear the sea, but not the folks passing our room, as the door is set back into the building and the bathroom is on the street side. We shared the large bathroom (huge walk-in shower, plenty of counter space and separate toilet stall) and each had a comfortable big bed. Lots of clothing storage, and beach ponchos and towels provided. We had a sitting area with sofa, coffee table, two armchairs and an ottoman, plus a balcony with a comfortable sofa and table. There are coffee- and tea-making supplies in the room, but we just walked the very short distance to the lobby each morning, picked up coffees and a light breakfast and ate on our balcony. The food was good, and creative: a pancake PBJ sandwich, for example! You can also order from an array of hot and cold dishes at an extra charg
−The only nit I need to pick is that the cleaning crew dropped a cherry pit on the bathroom floor on one day and left a towel lying on the pillows of one of the beds on another. But that's very minor.

“Lovely place to vacation”
+Perfect place to be...right on the beach, beautiful rooms and swimming pool with fire pits. They even put out chairs and umbrellas on the beach for you so all you need to do is grab a towel and go!
