“A nice getaway, it's well positioned for the beach, it was clean and the owners were very friendly”
+Breakfast was plentiful with toast available in addition to the cereals, coffee, tea, bread and butter, pastries, juice, yoghurt, and more.
−There's still evidence of the place being under renovation which I assume is ongoing.

“Lovely base for first time in Isle of Wight”
+Friendly welcome by Martin leaving positive first impression of Isle of Wight as we first arrived in Shanklin,after travelling from Midlands - Southampton. Checking in and out was easy as Martin lives just 5 - 10 minutes away. Very close to Shanklin Beach esplanade, walking distance to Shanklin Chine top attrance. Family room no 2 was spotless They even have dining room with a corner for the kids to sit and play.
−Nothing too major. Just the single mattresses are more comfy than the double mattress 😅 And the single mattress bit smaller than the bed frame thus maybe could be of risk of hazard to little ones.

+Property was clean and had all of the essentials you could need. The location was also excellent for staying in Shanklin as well as easy to drive to other areas of the Isle of Wight. Ample parking. Check in was easy and the owners were super friendly and helpful.

“Great Family Room”
+The property was in a great location. We stayed in the family room with balcony. I liked that there was a door between the single beds and the double bed as a lot of family rooms don’t have this. The location was great, and the owner was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again and we saw a lovely sunset from the balcony.
−Double mattress would benefit from a topper to make it a little more comfy
