“Fantastic building & views, keep yourselves to yourselves. Do not ask for coffee or home comforts”
+Location was brilliant and the view from the windows was beautiful over looking canal.
−The towels were strange sizes and didn't match, i had to look for soap, i thought i had booked self-catering, there was a sink in the cupboard in the bedroom , but no cooker, there was a microwave and a kettle. we found some teabags in the hall, We found a coffee maker in the hall, but the landlord literally snatched a coffee pod away from my partner. We did not feel welcome during our stay.

“AVOID - please read the negative reviews before booking”

−I really wish I had read the other negative reviews carefully before booking this place for my daughter. From the moment my daughter arrived, she was treated rudely and aggressively. There were several things that made her feel extremely uncomfortable, including being asked to leave the keys outside the room at night while she was sleeping inside. Only after booking was I told that air conditioning in August would cost extra, which was not made clear when the booking was made. When I raised concerns about what had happened, instead of trying to resolve them, the host became hostile and even threatened to contact the police if I made claims about what happened. Eventually, they simply stopped responding. This is not hospitality, and the whole experience was completely unacceptable. My strongest advice is to read the negative reviews carefully before booking. I wish I had.

“Comfortable stay in a palazzo straight out of the Venetian history books.”
+This house was built in 1082 and is part of Venetian history being owned and occupied by merchants and nobility. The history is rich and interesting and you can practically see the memories held within the walls. The location is top notch for the price, but you can still enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The owners/operators are a lovely, elderly Italian couple whose family has owned the house for generations. Elenora gives you a thorough tour when you arrive. I wish I understood Italian as I am sure she has so many interesting stories about the place.
−Being so close to the canal and having a fountain directly below, when you open the window you open yourself up to the mosquitos. The place is old and has all the issues that comes with an old house, some dust, vaulted ceilings that can make temperature control difficult. The mattress was a bit conclave on one side from where people sit on the side of the bed. It might not be luxury but it felt like I was stay with my grandma and the personality makes up for the shortcomings.

“Venedig pur.”
+Die Lage nicht zu toppen, direkt am Kanal und Haltestelle der Linien, die direkt zu den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten führen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super! Die Unterkunft ein Stück Venedig, echte Venezianische Kunst und Flair. Man wohnt eben bei Venezianer und nicht in einem Standard-Hotel.

“Por unos euros más te compensa otro hotel.”
+Buena zona, con vaporetto a escasos metros y la estación de tren cerca. La habitación tiene nevera, microondas y fregadero.
−No está muy limpio: manchas y suciedad por la habitación y baño. Mosquitos dentro de la habitación. Ten en cuenta que si haces el checkin más tarde de las 20h te cobran un suplemento de 40€, y el checkout es muy pronto (de 9:30 a 10h). La zona de cocina no está muy limpia y no tienes para fregar y bolsas de basura. El olor de las cañerías es horrible e impregna toda la habitación.

−Het is te ingewikkeld om een juiste beoordeling te geven, zonder twee oude bejaarde mensen te beledigen. 84 en 86 jaar oud. Ooit een rijk en intelligent leven gehad, maar nu langzaam uit de tijd aan het glijden. Ze zouden dit niet meer moeten doen en booking zou dit ook niet meer moeten aanbieden.

+Zimmer ist großzügig, und die Dusche drin zu haben ist bequem.
−Ein kleines Abteil im Schrank ist viel zu wenig, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass das ein Doppelzimmer ist. 3 Kleiderbügel sind auch spärliche Ausstattung.
