“Enjoyable stay in Lyon”
+We liked the location, which is across the street from Place Bellecour, in the Presqu'ile district with easy access to Vieux Lyon. The breakfast was very good -- lots of variety. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
−The room was cluttered with furniture and things (tea set, throw pillows) that took up space in an already small room.

“A lovely and unique hotel with amazing decor we will certainly return”
+Our room was amazing the quality of the finishes and attention to detail of the decor and fixtures and fittings was sensational. The breakfast room was equally well thought through and quite quirky in an appealing way. Althought they did struggle with our poached eggs! But this did not spoil our experience
−We thought it was slightly over priced, but the quality was very good. I think I would have felt happier if the breakfast had been included in the overall price. Our stay was unfortunately during the riots so the rack rate had been reduced significantly but we had booked to early to get any reduction. A few days difference i vwould have cancelled and re booked.

+The location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown, with restaurants, bars, and a variety of shops all within walking distance.
−This is the kind of hotel you either love or hate - there’s no in-between. The interior is very different from that of a standard 4-star hotel, with lots of quirky details, vintage furniture, and old-fashioned decor. However, the overall cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The entrance is very inconvenient, as we had to climb over chairs while carrying our luggage. We were also informed that the elevator only goes up to the second floor only after we have paid for reservation. There is a noticeable musty smell throughout the hotel, and the abundance of upholstered furniture and curtains makes everything feel dusty. Even the bathroom is separated from the room by a curtain rather than a proper door. Overall, despite its unique character and interesting interior, the hotel does not feel particularly clean or comfortable, and the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired.

“Une vraie parenthèse hors du temps”
+Superbe petit hôtel traditionnel en plein centre-ville Accueil chaleureux Extrêmement calme : un chance en plein centre Et surtout ne pas louper le petit déjeuner dans la cuisine ouverte , un vrai cabinet de curiosités, accueilli par la pâtissière qui fait devant vous des gâteaux maison délicieux !
