9.0“Beautiful views, delicious home cooked food and amazing help to get there”
+Location is incredible. It sits as the highest hostel in Batad with beautiful views of the rice terraces. Josh’s helped set up transport from Banaue to batad, a tour guide and transport back. Food is delicious and is home made
−It’s currently under renovation, so they may add this: a sofa and chill area would be nice so one would not be in their room, or sitting by a table the rest of the time

9.0+The location, the people, the service, and the options for things to do. They made sure everything is comfortable and that we get the best experience
−Only thing is about the shower, and a little expensive compared to other places, but still really worth the value.

8.0“A wonderful stay in a remote area”
+The view was incredible, the staff were so accommodating and the Inn was very clean.
−A place to sit and relax would have made the terrace even better - they did have one hammock but a couple more would have been nice!

7.0“They need Starlink internet so that guests can stay connected”
+The location is right in the middle of the UNESCO Batad rice terraces. Picturesque view. It’s very clean and the staff are nice. Rooms are decently comfortable. Really great hiking to the waterfall and thru the rice terraces and village.
−We booked 3 nights but only stayed 2 nights because there was no WiFi for my boyfriend to stay connected to his work. The WiFi only worked the first night. It was out the whole next day and night and into the following day. And we couldn’t go another night and day with no signal. They didn’t offer to give us a refund for the 3rd night. So we lost that money. The room would’ve been more comfortable with some sort of storage to unpack your things.

10.0“Million dollar views of Rice Terraces…Nature at its finest, peaceful, magical, and absolutely priceless. 💚”
+Beautiful Rice Terraces View … when you open your room window. Host Nisha , Josephine and staff are all accomodating. First accomodation near the carpark. The trekking tour if the rice terraces and waterfalls are all worth it. Amazing experience!
−Flies during harvest season ( can’t help it). Open glass wall … not safe!

10.0“A magnificent place to view a UNESCO world heritage site.”
+Awesome hosts and awesome location. Let us leave our bags while we explored the rice terraces. Let us shower after checkout.
−Small but the bathroom was crowded in the morning. However, they did have signage that another option was available. I just waited. Like I said, very small

3.0−We booked an overnight stay here, but it was not mentioned in the description that reaching the property requires around a 20-minute hike uphill. Our elderly companion with asthma had a very difficult time getting to the location. If this had been clearly indicated beforehand, we probably would not have booked this place. There is also no cellphone signal in the area, and Wi-Fi is not free, so guests are limited to the property’s paid internet access. We bought 3, 12 hour voucher for internet and we were given only 3 hours. It was only corrected when we checked out. The food is quite overpriced as well. Another downside is the lack of a proper hot shower. We had to endure very cold water in the morning, which was especially uncomfortable given the weather. That said, the view is beautiful and the host was kind and accommodating. It would just be helpful if the Booking.com listing clearly stated that the place is more suitable for backpackers and is not elderly-friendly.
