“Basic needs were missing”
+I liked the room, it was neat and clean and welcoming.
−I used cold water as the tap made terrible noise when i chosw hot water in the evening. I informed the staff member and he assited me after i took a cold bath. The Aircon was not functioning as well. I took a cold shwer again in the morning as there was load shedding.

“A good homey stay”
+Location is in a good spot. The breakfast was nice.
−The floors creak a lot. So if someone is walking on the top floor or making any kind of movement, it will disturb your sleep.

“We do not recommend this establishment.”
−The photos of the room we booked at Bartholomew's Loft must have been taken some while ago because it was not as nice as the photo looked. It felt cold, damp and needed updating. We checked in but did not remain there for very long. Instead we went to find alternative accommodation, then returned to ask for a refund - explaining our discomfort. The lady agreed to give us a refund but did not go through with it. Booking.com advised us that they could not get a response from them! The outside building needs re-decorating and is on very noisy corner. There is only just enough room for maybe 4 cars but if you park there first, you will be blocked in.

“I will never use such place again.”

−When I booked online it suggested breakfast was included, until I got to the place was told it was not included. They didn't even put towels in the room.

“It was not a great one at all.”
+I liked the fact that the property is in town. The apartment was spacious & well furnished
−Parking space was a problem, there is very little parking space you have to struggle to get space the yard is small, second yard, the entrance is very small. If you have a big car, your car can be easily scratched. Main bedroom upstairs has no bathroom/ toilet, had to go down the stairs to access toilet at night. Furniture was full of dust especially upstairs, Room was not cleaned on the second day, the cleaners came we told them we will go to town they can come back later, when we came back the room was still dirty. Guys at reception were so kind, they apologized & gave us at least fresh towels. Toilet seat was broken with paint stains. Shower, water takes time to drain, the next person to shower has to wait until all the water drains out. Wifi was not working properly, you had to be in the lounge to access Wifi. In morning, we were woken up by noisy people within the property.
