“Chilling at Barra beach”
+The location is amazing! Just a walk downstairs to Barra beach. Cute little beach huts with 2 hammocks for chilling. The food is really great too. Lots of sweet cats:)

“Beautiful location, but disappointing value for money”
+The property is truly beautiful, and we especially loved the location right on the beach. The views are fantastic, and you can really enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Overall, the exceptional location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest strengths.
−What disappointed us most was the value for money. The property is very small, with only a handful of bungalows, which certainly has its own charm and creates a very personal atmosphere. However, at almost €100 per night, we expected a noticeably more professional overall experience. The breakfast in particular was disappointing for this price range. The choice is very limited, the portions are rather small, and the service can take quite a long time. Even the coffee is just basic instant coffee. We mentioned that we felt the breakfast was very limited, and although our feedback was acknowledged in a friendly way, unfortunately nothing changed afterwards. To be clear, the staff were friendly and we have no real complaints about their attitude. However, the overall service feels quite informal and somewhat improvised. At a lower price point, this would not bother us at all and could even be part of the charm. But at almost €100 per night, we simply don’t feel that the price, service, and overall experience are in proportion.

“A rugged paradise by the sea! Loved it.”
+These cabin bungalows were great and right on the beach! If you enjoy the simple ruggedness of cabins by the beach, then you will love staying at BaraCoco. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious. The staff don't speak a lot of English but this does not matter - they were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast each morning was a choice of 3 dishes and I can highly recommend the banana pancakes! We stayed in the cabin with beach and sea views which is exactly what we got. Thank you BaraCoco!! x

“Very relaxing stay at a small beachside resort”
+Very friendly, available and capable staff. Excellent Indonesian food on the menu. Great location at the sea. Every room is a little house, so very private. Great communication with the owner Jan who took very good care of us including arranging a worry free airport transfer to Makassar.
−Only a suggestion to have some western food options on the menu. Me and my wife are perfectly fine with Indonesian food only :-) But our kids would have loved some fries, pizza, tosti or a club sandwich for example.

+Tolle Bungalows in wunderschöner Lage. Gute Frühstückauswahl. Kleines Restaurant, in dem man für ein paar Tage gut essen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar ein ganzes Stück außerhalb des Dorfes, dafür aber an einem sehr malerischen Strandabschnitt mit schönem Riff.
