9.0+The hotel and the gardens are beautiful, superbly maintained and the food and the staff are excellent. Its a large complex, where you can always find a quiet spot or mix with the crowd, whatever suits you. The room we had was amazing, with a huge bathroom a lounge area and a jacuzzi on the veranda with a view over the ocean.
−There are a couple of things you need to know. Firstly, this is advertised as an all inclusive, which it really isn't. There are several restaurants two of which are al-le-carte and are chargeable, all premium drinks are chargeable and even some beers, there is an ice cream kiosk which is chargeable, a healthy drinks kiosk which is chargeable and the one which surprised me the most was that in your room, and mine was a premium room, there is a mini fridge which is stocked with a few soft drinks, which are not chargeable but once they are gone they charge you to replace them. So depending on your buget and view on this, it's worth noting. The second thing is the beach, this is a stunning long stretch of powder white sand, which unfortunately is suffering the same fate as a lot of beaches round the world, seaweed. There was quite a lot of it around when we were there, this may or may not bother you because you cannot sit on the beach anyway because it's a public beach and the hotels are not allowed to put sunbeds on the beach, which is something I was not aware of. The other main issue with even going to the beach for a nice long quiet walk ,is what I know as the looky looky guys whi

−It’s a shame that you can’t go on to the beach without being pestered.

8.0“Thoroughly enjoyed it”
+Junior ocean view suite with a hot tub . Staff very friendly & attentive. Evening entertainment was brilliant. Food was varied
−10am check out , if want late checkout have to pay 75% of room fee to keep till 4pm plus extra charge to take advantage of AI for the day after 10am. Have to pay extra for premium drinks. AI cocktails not great. Constant hassle on the beach by beach vendors

9.0“A peaceful, family-friendly resort with great food, wonderful staff, and a fantastic kids’ club,we’d definitely visit ag”
+We had a really lovely stay at this resort. The environment was beautiful and very peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax as a family. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ club. Our child could spend time there interacting and playing with other children, and also enjoyed swimming with them. It gave us some time to relax while knowing our child was having fun. The food was very good, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit this resort again. Highly recommended, especially for families with children!

1.0−Reception is very rude mostly to African natives both on phone and physical contact. I did an online booking for two nights but when I called they casually told me to come and pay when checking in, only to be told my booking was cancelled 😔. Was so disappointed with it. Had to look for another hotel (DIANI REEF). We really enjoyed the stay, good reception, the customer service was very 😊👍. I would recommend it to any other person. At least I got consolation at the facility.

6.0+overall hotel was great, execellent kitchen staff.
−We paid for 6 adults and 2 kids, so assumed they would accomodate for a large room, however all they did was put a single bed in a small double room. so our overall stay was cramped. The management refused to help and only said that the hotel was fully booked.

4.0“Left after 1 day”
+Baobab didn’t work for us unfortunately. We arrived from safari after a long day of travel, tired and covered in dust. The reception told us we have to check in ourselves through their app. Ok is there a WiFi? Yes but to connect to the WiFi you need a room number… iPhone didn’t like the connection so had to fiddle with th location. At this point I lost my patience and asked the reception to check us in. We are on our honeymoon and booked baobab a year ago. The idea was there is a quiet adult only area and if we wanted entertainment there was one. Unfortunately the adult area was under renovation and is currently closed. We were told it would be opened by the end of July. Now they say the 15th of August but no way, August 2027 perhaps. The noise from the construction goes on well after 11pm. I also liked the central location in Diane however after 15 min drive from the airport my husband said under no circumstances he goes back to that road again :) not hotel’s fault just saying. So we had a stressful check in, walk into the resort and see a small swimming pool full of screaming kids, music blasting, red skinned parents getting drunk on all inclusive drinks…. It’s like Benidorm of K

2.0“Baobab beach resort and spa”
+This holiday was supposed to be for my 50th birthday and the Woking branch of TUI didn’t advise us there was building work going on, I only found out after paying the balance that there was a red part on the booking with an advice notification, I called TUI and was advised there where minor alterations and it would be very minimal disruption, flight from Heathrow was late by 4.5 hours and on landing had our bags sent to nirobi airport instead of Mombasa first mess to sort out, then on arrival at baobab we drove into pretty much a building site there where two full wings under full refurbishment the main tiered swimming pool was closed two restaurants out of use , the ambi theatre was being pulled apart, paths being ripped up and other parts being worked on the noise went on until well after midnight most nights, the food was ok probably only about a 3 star and was very limited, the beach is a no go unless you want to get pestered constantly by looky looky men that don’t take no for an answer ok if you want a ride on a run Down jet ski, the beach is not private not at all as it looks on social media and promo videos, the hotel staff where very good and very polite, but the best part
