“Okay but full of chaos.”
+It was near center.
−Neighbourghood felt unsafe time to time and market was quit loud, also we got locked outside of the house because of the other people living there locked the door from inside:

+The place was really clean, and the property owner was kind.
−The location is not ideal, as it is very noisy outside even at night because of the market, and since I am traveling alone, I do not feel safe.

+Location was good, close to the railway and bus station, markets were a bit noisy, but they were just during the day, so not a problem. Wasn't happy about sharing kitchen facilities.
−Was not the cleanest shower, hand basin and toilet

“Great place to stay in Palermo”
+Ballaro' House is a perfect place for your Palermo experience. Located right on Mercato Ballarò it is an unforgettable experience. It is a perfect location to all important destinations in the city. Walking distance everywhere, close to the train station, but off the heavy traffic. It is quiet during night. The room is all you need, with clean bathroom and a kitchen available for all your cooking needs including a fridge. The windows have shades so you can have complete darkness during the day if you need it. You can turn on the heating if necessary. Excellent value for money. We loved the view overlooking the market and a cathedral. Checking in and out was easy. Our host Laura was super friendly and helpful.
−We didn't have a problem with anything.

“A lovely spacious shared apartment, great view of the Ballaro Market but a little noisy. Lovely host!”
+Lovely apartment with an en-suite bathroom, very bright and spacious with a beautiful view from the window. A nice kitchen with good access to facilities. Close walking distance to the central station and to the city centre. Laura our host was very nice and welcoming, sharing some helpful local suggestions and recommendations.
−The apartment is right by the bustling Ballaro Market so the entrance is tucked behind the backs of the street stalls. Whilst it’s a great place to walk around and see local foods, it’s quite noisy in the day and night.
