+The photos do not reflect how good the rooms are in this resort. The view is so beautiful you forget the stairs. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable. The staff is very very nice and the food is actually excellent
−The location is a bit away from the main road but it’s ok because you get peace and quiet

“Great food, staff, snorkeling and villas”
+Fabulous food and staff . Great location snorkeling off the beach opposite
−Nothing really, it is a great place to stay. The tvs in the rooms are for decoration only. Sometimes the village below can be noisy, eat plugs work treat

“Beautiful and Peaceful Stay”
+We really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, and surrounded by a lovely and peaceful garden. The room was clean, comfortable, and a great place to relax after a day of exploring Amed. One thing to keep in mind is that there are quite a lot of stairs, so it may not be ideal for everyone. The property is also located a little further from the main center of Amed, so having your own transport is convenient. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We would happily come back again!

+Exceptional views from the room. The size of the room was pretty good too. Amenities in the room were good as well.
−Just on the last day the staff was a bit off. There's a lot of stairs in the property, there was a quiet expectation for us or our driver to take our own luggage which was weird. They did help later though but only after I asked for it.

−Way worse location than imagined. Doesn’t make sense that it’s 8.5 or something on location. No cell reception. Breakfast is just cheap stuff and not the best people there

“Great for relaxing.”
+The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (room 5) had a gorgeous sea view, it was spacious with a large private terrace. The included breakfast was a great start to the day. The restaurant served a variety of both international and Asian meals and is very good value. The pool area and gardens are attractive and well maintained. There is a beach opposite for snorkeling and scuba diving. Our stay was both relaxing and enjoyable, we were sad to leave.
−There was nothing we didn’t like however, it is worth mentioning that there are a lot of stairs which might not be suitable for everyone.

“Stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff!”
+We absolutely loved our time spent at Baliku! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious with an absolutely breathtaking view. We were in room 1, which is the closest room to the street, and we still had an incredible view of the ocean and mountains. The staff were exceptional - always friendly and down for a chat, and went out of their way to accomodate us. Breakfast was delicious, as were all our meals in the restaurant. Snorkelling at the Japanese Shipwreck (which is just across the road) was the absolute highlight of our trip. I absolutely recommend staying here if you want somewhere quieter than the centre of Amed :)
−The only slight downside is the location - it’s not walkable to anywhere and we had to get driven around a lot (not the hotel’s fault at all!).
