“good central location. Value for money. would stay there again”
+No breakfast provided. Common eating area shown on previous website was shut down and used for staff accommodation
−The motel does need a major upgrade since the room was quite dated. Cleanliness standards were less than expected. Owner focus on Yurts for Glamping and not the Motel. found heat pump noisy while sleeping

“Convenient to Baddeck”
+The staff was helpful
−Very dated and each room including the office is in disrepair. Furniture looks and feels old and very dingy. Though we had lake view rooms, there was no description or pictures indicating the views would be obstructed by the outhouses and “huts”

+Good location. Friendly staff.
−The hotel was a litte run down. Not a "luxury" hotel like it was advertised.

“Loved it and would stay again.”
+Loved the new heat pump A/c units in the room. Very comfortable during a warm spell.
−The rooms were a bit dated, but the hotel is slowly being renovated. This in no way detracted from our stay.
