+Absolutely stunning hotel right on the beach! Everything was spotless, and our apartment was beautiful and very spacious. The entire team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to Peter, who took such great care of us and gave us wonderful tips and useful information throughout our stay. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Zanzibar! Highly recommended!

+We had a great time and enjoyed the stay - great breakfasts, safety, support in case of any need - just perfect!
−There were a very small insects especially in kitchen area (no drama, but still sharing if important for someone). We were there in July (winter) so the air-conditioning wasn't a must, but in warmer months would be required and based on 11 nights stay I could see it was exceptionally working especially during the nights. Also the sofa in living room if used for sleeping is not the most comfortable for an adult.

+I felt like I was in paradise. The villa is in a perfect location, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were exceptional, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Rehema was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The manager was also very friendly and made a point of personally meeting us, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this villa and would happily stay here again.

“Wish we could have stayed longer in this tropical paradise!”
+Our family of four (we have two adult children) had a wonderful three-night stay at Babu Villas! Mélie met us when we arrived and oriented us to the property and the area. Throughout our stay, she helped us book cabs, restaurants, and even kite surfing lessons. She and her staff are real gems! Each morning, villa staff made us incredible breakfasts of eggs, crêpes, gorgeous fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, granola, and more, which we ate outside, overlooking the pool area and the beach. The location is beautiful, right on the beach, where traditional fishing boats bob. The pool area is so inviting, with soft sand, coconut palms, lounge chairs, and hammocks. Perfect for relaxing and reading. Our beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the AC there. The bathrooms were nice and spacious. We appreciated having the kitchen, which allowed us to refrigerate breakfast food and reheat leftovers from dinner. Within walking distance, there is an ATM, a small market, local fruit stands, and @home, a cafe with very good coffee. We also had some nice dinners at the restaurant of the Passion Boutique Hotel, a few doors down. We all wish we had more time to spend at the villas, and if we ever have

+Babu Villas made everything on Sansibar perfect for us. It was the place, where we could just look at the indian ocean, start a walk at the beach, stay in or outside the appartement and enjoy everything around it. It is the perfect quite place for reading, looking and just being. The team was always there when we had questions and for the daily support. The breakfast was delicious, every day with fresh food. Very helpful tipps for restaurants are given by the team. We would definitely come again to Babu Villas.

+I loved nearly everything about Babu Villas. It is a true gem: The grounds and rooms are lovely with just the perfect balance of wonderful artisan decor but also a welcoming place that feels like home. The location is absolutely wonderful: Just off the beach and in the laid back vibe of Jambiana. Most exceptional of all were the amazing staff - Mélie, Rehema, and crew-- who were charming, incredibly responsive and helpful, and always made us feel authentically welcomed and at home. Without a doubt one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had at a guesthouse or B&B or VRBO.

“Deilig opphold rett på stranden”
+Flott leilighet i 2. etasje med verdens flotteste utsikt rett over stranda og havet. Helt greit utstyrt kjøkken for enkel matlaging hvis man ønsket det, stort kjøleskap med fryser som var helt super. Kort avstand til butikker og restauranter. Fersk juice hver morgen med frokosten som var veldig god. Deilig roligt sted.
−Litt misvisende informasjon i informasjonsbrosjyren så vanskellig å vite f. eks når det skulle gjøres rengjøring på roomet. Savnet litt mer pålegg og grønnsaker med frokosten siden jeg ikke er glad i syltetøy- som var eneste pålegget man fikk. Fikk veldig slitte sengetøy til å starte med med flekker og hull som jeg fikk byttet ut.
