“Very clean and pleasant staff”
+Very clean but a little worn in places .it was expected for basic price staff were all pleasant and help full home cooked food was excellent . We were a little concerned that there may be a bit of noise from pub but was very quiet . Breakfast left in our room was great idea and good choice with milk and yogurt kept in fridge . Over all very good

+Used as a base due to friend’s birthday locally. Lovely self contained rooms. Good effort at continental breakfast in the room. Would be nice if the fridge was cold for milk and yogurt though. It felt as if it had only just been put on before we arrived. Value for money.

+Unfortunately by the time we arrived 14.55 hours the restaurant had stopped serving food. Other than that the service and location was lovely thankyou.

“Don't Stay Here If You Like Cleanliness”
+We knew when we booked cheap that it would not be the Ritz but it was close to where we needed to be and accepted dogs so it fitted our needs. However the wood floor had not been hoovered and was covered in bits. The bathroom was shockingly filthy, not just a little bit. Really dirty. dirt on the walls, scum in the sink, an unclean toilet and minging shower. The beds were tiny and cheap. The minute you sat on them they moved across the floor. The breakfast included was good but we had to listen to the noisy fridge all night. Also it was way to o hot and there was no way of regulating it other than opening the window and listening to the goings on at the pub all night.

+I liked the facilities in the room. It was very comfortable and had a good, powerful shower. The only thing that lets it down is that the walls and ceilings are very thin - I was disturbed frequently throughout the night as people came and went and got up to use the loo!

+I appreciate this is budget accommodation, but it still should be cleaned fully before accepting new guests.
