“One night stand”
+Due to a late flight arrival, I had to spend one night in Budapest; I was looking for an decent yet budget-friendly option with good accessibility. Based on the reviews, Avenue Hostel fit the bill. I was warmly welcomed at reception by Eszter; the check-in process was quick and smooth (she even waived the cash deposit for the key card, since I was only staying for one night,THANK YOU!), and she walked me to my bed and explained everything I needed to know. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the other guests were quiet. The bathroom and toilet facilities were in good condition and cleaned regularly. What more could you ask for? As for breakfast, it was more of a bonus,I wasn't expecting anything fancy. And that’s exactly what it was: white bread, butter, eggs, jam, and cereal. Coffee was also available, which I appreciated. It was enough to get the day started, and for the price, it’s more than adequate. If you ever find yourself in Budapest for a few days and aren't necessarily looking for luxury, perhaps you’d even like to meet other travelers, this place is a good choice.
−Some girl in my room was quietly masturbating in the morning, and it woke me up. It’s not that I wanted to join in,I just wanted to sleep, but in what was otherwise absolute silence, it kept me from sleeping. I’ll have to bring earplugs next time, haha.
