“Great location and value for money”
+We really enjoyed staying at this homestay with Jimmy and his family. We had a bedroom and bathroom upstairs which was clean, quiet and private. Jimmy took us on a tour of the floating markets and other hidden gems which we wouldn't have known about without him. Highly recommend Authentic Homestay.

“Authentic family homestay with friendly english speaking guide (who does great tours!)”
+We had an awesome stay with Jimmy and his little family at his homestay. Jimmy speaks pretty good English, which made communicating easy, and he went the extra mile to show us around and show us where to get local food etc. The room was clean and tidy if simple. Jimmy also runs tours through a few travel agency platforms, but we just organised something with him directly. He took us on a river boating trip, which was very peaceful, and Jimmy gave some great insight into the life of the locals along the waterways. We visited the floating markets in Can Tho where boats and vendors traded fresh produce and local meals. We visited local rice noodle producers’ workshop and a small fruit farm. We then transitioned onto bicycles at a temple (Jimmy arranged prior) and rode through the countryside , past rice paddies, quaint villages, blacksmiths, local diners , seeing how people live, working in fields, kids waving, the smell of cooking in small roadside kitchens. Visiting the local artisans and blacksmiths was a highlight: and we had some of the regions best noodles at a little lunch stop where you have to press the noodles yourself. −It is a little distance from the main town, so you are better off getting a cab to get into Can Tho. But with "Grab" (the Uber of Vietnam) its so cheap to cab everywhere.

+Jimmy et sa famille sont très gentils, accueillants et de bons conseils. La chambre n’est pas trés grande mais confortable et bien équipée. L’acces a la terrasse est un petit plus bien appréciable et le quartier est légèrement excentré mais calme tout en restant a 500m du marché flottant et desservi par les grabs.

−Il bagno è minuscolo e le scale ripidissime. Sei letteralmente nel soggiorno dei proprietari, con scarsa intimità. Il proprietario dell homestay propone visite al mercato organizzate da lui stesso con prezzi turistici e molto cari a mio avviso. Lui è ostile a considerare alternative alla sua proposta. Noi abbiamo trovato la visita personalizzata al mercato e canali a 1/3 del prezzo da lui proposto andando direttamente al molo. Questo è un peccato perché il mercato è a 5 minuti a piedi dall homestay. Per il resto abbiamo avuto supporto pressappoco nullo e la posizione è lontana dal centro, qui di per ogni movimento bisogna prendere almeno 15 Min di grab.

“Consigliato”
+Stanza semplice ma completa di tutto il necessario. Jimmy e la sua famiglia sono delle bellissime persone, simpatiche ed accoglienti. Siamo stati molto bene. Sicuramente consigliato per chi vuole andare a vedere i mercati galleggianti.

“Onvergetelijke tijd Onvergetelijke tijd”
+De familie is ontzettend vriendelijk,laat je thuis voelen en laat je Vietnam, Mekong Delta zien zoals je het als vreemde nooit zou kunnen zien. Superlieve kinderen , geweldige natuur , lekker eten en de beste tourguide ever die perfect Engels spreekt, wat wil je meer ?

“Expérience authentique chez une adorable petite famille”
+La petite famille de Jimmy est adorable. L’accueil et l’attention de Jimmy est juste parfait. Il nous a préparé une journée de découvertes vraiment agréable, très authentique. Belle expérience à vivre!
−L’emplacement est un peu loin du downtown mais en le sachant d’avance, ça se gère!

+Todo es tal cual se describe, nos sentimos cómodos y como en casa. Jimmy y su esposa son cálidos y muy atentos. Nos hicieron recomendaciones y nos ayudaron con la reserva de bus a Chau Doc. Teníamos aire acondicionado, una neverita, agua caliente en el baño privado y la cama era cómoda. El desayuno incluido estuvo muy bien (café, pan con mantequilla y mermeladas, yogurt), nos dejaron usar algunos utensilios de la cocina también. Tuvimos una excelente experiencia y volvería a hospedarme aquí sin dudas.
