+Walking distance to Madiha beach. Owner was super helpful and responsive. Very well maintained and clean. Free parking. Cheap breakfast available on request. Noise cancelling rooms. Clean and modern bathrooms.

“Barely stayed for a few hours to crash after a night out at the Doctor’s.”
+Access to the beach clubs and bars.
−The bathroom was downright disgusting. There was a stench from the drains.

“Exceptional”
+Great and comfortable accommodation close to restaurants, bars and a beach where you can snorkel with turtles, the owner lent us a mask and snorkel. The owner and his people are very nice and helpful. They serve a fantastic breakfast, either classic continental or traditional Sri Lankan. TOP

“Basic accommodation, not accurate description of service provided”
+It was a value for money stay. The place is close to the beach.
−The accommodation description in booking is not very accurate. According to the listing, breakfast was offered for 5$, but the owner told us 7$. We didn't take breakfast to see if it was good , but still 7$ is a lot. Another thing is that they say that they accept card payment, but upon the check out, they informed us that they don't have POS.

“Superb”
+The owner is very nice, the property is beautiful, right next to the beach and to the Doctor’s House.
−The room was big (3 double beds), but small bathroom. There was dust in the corners and there is the carpet on the floor..

“Amazing hosts and great value for money.”
+The hosts made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A Sri Lankan breakfast was provided at an additional charge and the hosts helped with organising taxis for onwards travel. We stayed twice on our trip: once for the Doctor’s House party as it’s right around the corner and second on our way back along the coast for some R&R.

“Beaucoup de logements autour à prix très avantageux.”
+Localisation proche de petites plages très agréables où nous avons pu observer des tortues
−Nous n’avons reçu aucun accueil, 3 serviettes de toilette pour 5, pas de draps, aucun service de petit déjeuner proposé, piscine sale, cuisine extérieure que nous avons supposé être en libre accès avec équipements vétustes (bouilloire cassée) et détritus au sol … pas de moustiquaires . Nous aurions loué à côté si nous avions pu annuler !
