+This was a favorite place on our travels throughout Scotland. In a peaceful setting, everything was lovely and immaculately cared for, with many extra nice and small touches. Jane and Richard were excellent hosts, welcoming us warmly, sharing helpful suggestions, and providing a wonderful breakfast with homemade bread. This was a great stay and highly recommend!

“Great place to stay!”
+Richard & Jane run a great place. They are warm & friendly, breakfasts are incredible (especially the coffee!), & the rooms are spacious & comfortable. We liked that they used local items to decorate. That adds a lot of character & charm!

“Tour of the Highlands”
+Richard and Jane are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived to the minute we drove away 2 days later. The room was huge, spotless and so comfortable. They were on hand for advice on where to visit, eat out or just there to reassure us that we were welcome in their home. The best way to describe our stay is that as we left it was like leaving friends or family. We felt like we could have stayed on. But we had a schedule to follow. We would Definitely stay again.

“Lovely B&B with super hosts”
+Lovely accommodation and super hosts in the small B&B, very handy for the NC500 route. Big Scottish breakfast was delightful. Safe parking and easy access to the A386.

“Couldnt fault Aurora b&b”
+pet friendly is an understatement me and my collie were very welcome in fact treated like royalty, beaches in the area are exceptional .when the sun shines its like being on the med. my favourites are Dunnet Melvich and Strathy. All are also dog friendly. its my 3rd time at Aurora and its a 13/10 for me last time was 12/10,,,, The B&b is clean tidy .out of the way if you have a dog to walk, its a quiet area with quite a lot going on ???[ you have to look behind the quiet ] in june curlews are in numbers skylarks northern gannets at sea. otters at sea. seals if you can spot them. its a quietly busy farming area. the b&b is excellent .they have once again made it hard to leave.!

“An excellent stay and warmly welcomed”
+We stayed here in order to catch a nearby ferry to Orkney. We were met with a warm welcome by Jane who made us tea and served us cakes. Met Richard the next morning who makes the most amazing breakfasts which last all day. Our host were very knowledgeable about the area and where to eat. Very comfortable and very peaceful. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

“Warm welcome, comfortable stay.”
+A warm welcome of tea and homemade cakes served in the sunroom overlooking the garden was the wonderful start of our overnight stay. Our room was spacious and warm and the beds very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We look forward to our next visit.
