+This hotel is in a great spot, the rooms are clean, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are a bit weird. The bathroom is right by the door, and the bed is up on a second level with low, arched ceilings that are a bit dangerous.

+The Astir Thira Hotel was just on the outskirts of town. This was nice because it made for easier access in and out of town. It was a very short 3-5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us which made it very convenient for us. The room was pleasantly clean and we had a nice view of the ocean off of our balcony. The only downside was that the main street separated the hotel from the balcony which made the room a little noisy during the day and early night. Later on at night it was relatively quiet. The room was somewhat small but this seems to be a theme when traveling in Greece. There was only a small hanging area for clothing and nowhere to put your luggage or other clothing. The bathroom area had no shelving for your toiletries and only two hooks for your towels. They would do themselves a favor if they installed more shelving in the bathroom and bedroom and hooks on the backside of the bathroom door. They also need a do not disturb sign for the rooms. The pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. Breakfast was included and was good. Staff was very friendly and always had a warm greeting. For the lad
