“Not what we were expecting”
+Convenient and clean, but that’s all I can say.
−The room was dated and it wasn’t pleasant to see paint peeling off the ceiling. The floor was slanted to the point where you could feel off balance and this was the case when we were lying on the bed. We could also hear people in the adjoining rooms and doors were banging late into the night and early morning. Our suitcase was constantly moving by itself and one of the drawers kept opening by itself and this wasn’t paranormal!

“Room 5 for 4 nights”
+The room was clean, and inexpensive. There's also a fridge in the room - very handy. WiFi also works well.
−Room 5 (and 6) is not en-suite, whilst there is a dedicated bathroom in the hall, it is inconvenient for filling the kettle or nipping to the loo without disturbing others (because the door locks are noisy).

“Great stay”
+I never met a member of staff during the visit, it was a good place that stay apart from noisy seagulls which I know can’t be helped

“Great rooms & value for money”
+We have previously stayed here & knew it was great value for money, spotlessly clean & good size accommodation. Aspen is in a good central location to shops etc. It is contactless check in which is convenient & there is a contact number for any problems that may occur. We would stay here again in the future
−We previously stayed here April 2024 & had hoped that the back outdoor space of the property would have been tidied up by now. So much potential there for a car park which i would happily pay a daily charge for. Also a nice seating area for guests.. Shame to leave such a great space full of weeds & scrap materials, its just so unpleasant to see. Please develop this area, surely it would benefit the business in the long term. Also room 5 needs either a new mattress or a memory foam topper. Hardly slept due to feeling nearly every spring which was a shame as we really like the property. In future will ask not to be given room 5 again
