“Great service, beautifully decorated, feels like staying in a friend’s villa.?”
+We booked this as a last minute thing because it was our last night in Sicily, and we didn’t know where we would be able to park or whether we might really want to stay in Catania. It worked out way beyond our expectations! The location is great - very close to the Duomo and the fish market, but just a few steps removed to feel “real”. Also because we had a last-minute rate through booking.com. It was a great deal. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The rooftop terraces are perfection.

“We wish we stayed longer.”
+The hotel is tastefully curated. It is full of stunning artwork, beautiful furniture and quirky sculptures. Everywhere you look, there is something interesting. Enjoy your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the piazza. Its location is central, right near the fish market which has a great choice of fantastic places to eat fresh fish and seafood.
−Nothing.

“Fabulous Eclectic hotel in the heart of Catania.”
+Excellent Location in the heart of Catania, great view over one of the main squares from the breakfast terrace. The breakfast was excellent, the room very comfortable, and spacious. The key thing about this hotel is the unbelievable, eclectic collection of art work and decor throughout the property.
−Im not sure there was anything I could fault.

“This is NOT your average boutique hotel! You are staying in a beautiful art gallery.”
+It was absolutely magical. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way. The property is extremely unique. We enjoyed the fabulous location and delicious breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable. The bed and sheets were 1st class. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
−There was nothing not to like!

“Great”
+The character and art. Our suite. The location. The general ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. Good breakfasts.
−The bed was rather hard. There was some street noise late at night, particularly at weekends as a result of the location near the centre of the city.

“Excellent stay at a unique hotel with helpful staff”
+This place was very cool. We loved the property and the art. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful with recommendations, very responsive via WhatsApp, and the included breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Location was excellent and very central. An extra huge shout out and thank you to Danila at the front desk who went above and beyond to help me with a stuck dress zipper as we were getting ready for a wedding!! She saved the night.
−This is not the hotel’s fault and we would absolutely recommend this place, but it may be helpful for light sleepers to know that it’s truly in the center of night life action on a Saturday night. Our room faced the busy part of the street and it was mostly quiet inside but we did hear the occasional boisterous crowd or late night glass bottle recycling bin being emptied.

“Pure relaxation, delivered”
+The location is so relaxing and amenities are abundant. We don’t normally lay around by the pool on vacation, but we did so for 2 days by the main pool and 1/2 day by the beach club. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We both set personal best sleep scores. The staff are exceptionally hard working - we were there during a heat wave and I really don’t see how they remained so alert and friendly the whole time.
−The property is absolutely lovely and in a beautiful setting. Strangely, the gym and spa were in a basement that smells a bit of mold. Perhaps they are remediating it?
