“Very nice place near the center”
+Staff was very helpful. They carried my suitcase up the steep stairs, and when I got sick the manger went to the supermarket for me to get some groceries. I wanted to do my laundry, but the staff said I could go into town and they did it for me, so when I came back I only had to take it off the clothes lines. My balcony was great too - though a more comfortable chair with pillows instead of the hard plastic one wouldn't hurt to increase comfort. I didn't use it, but the tiny swimming pool looked clean and good too.
−It's an old restaurated building I get that, but for me the pretty steep stairs weren't great. Not sure if I had known that beforehand that I would have booked. For someone who can walk normally, this shouldn't be a reason not to book though.

“Great option for Mindelo if you like a place that feels like home rather than a hotel”
+Great Location and well set up. Somehow they fit a little pool upstairs as well. Good security set up so you can get in and out as you like.
