“Lovely comfortable stay”
+The room was nice and comfortable. The shared outside space with the pool and sofa is beautiful. It's further away from Cefalù centre but we appreciate the guest free car park as we drove there and back. Armando the host was friendly and helpful, thankyou!

−One should have access to a car. Few restaurants within walking distance. It would be great if one had access to a simple kitchen so one at least could make your own breakfast. It is a traditional Sicilian house with rooms and a private patio in the basement.

“Not for everyone. Nice house but shared bathroom and un-impressive rooms.”
+Armando is a friendly helpful host and the location, while a 15 minutes drive from Cefalu town, was close to a few nice and quiet beaches. The house has a nice garden/ swimming area.
−There is only one bathroom to be shared between several rooms, this is very uncomfortable and impractical. Rooms are located in a basement area making them dark and with terrible wifi.

“Spotless, peaceful, and a wonderful host”
+Perfect for anyone who wants to escape the crowds of central Cefalù, quiet and relaxed. The place is cleaner and better kept than the photos suggest. Armando was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. We were unsure about the shared bathroom at first, but it was spotless and comfortable, so it was no issue at all.

“Perfekte Lage, wenn man etwas Ruhe von der touristischen Altstadt Cefalùs möchte!”
+Perfekte Unterkunft für ein paar Nächte, die man in der Gegend von Cefalù, aber nicht in der touristischen und lauten Altstadt verbringen will. Mit dem Auto ist man superschnell in der Stadt oder beim Einkaufen. Der nächste Strand ist fußläufig und es gibt sogar einen Pool vor Ort! Der Gastgeber Armando hat uns sehr hilfreiche Tipps und Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben und hat sich stets erkundigt, wie es uns geht.
−Einziges minikleines Manko: es gab keine Handtuchhalter/haken.

“Nicht zu empfehlen”
+Die ruhige Lage Die Nähe zu Cefalu - ca. 10 min.mit dem Auto
−- Versuch persönliche Daten (Fotos der Reisepässe) für den Check In über sms zu bekommen (Datenschutzrisiko), dass sollte sicherheitshalber beim Check In erfolgen und nicht über unsichere Kanäle - ständiges Drängen eine ganz genaue Ankunftszeit zu erhalten (obwohl der Check In ohnehin auf nur unübliche 2 Std. begrenzt war). Wir waren an dem Tag mit dem Auto quer durch Sizilien unterwegs und wollten dabei etwas besichtigen. Da kann man schlecht eine so genaue Ankunftszeit angeben. Als Check In Möglichkeit war 16 - 18 Uhr in der Anzeige angegeben. Auf der Basis haben wir gebucht. - nicht gut gereinigt und eher ungepflegt, innen und außen (Bad, Treppe, Zugang - siehe Fotos) - es wurde nachts kalt im Zimmer (weil im Untergeschoss) und keine zusätzlichen Decken vorhanden (gab es sonst in allen Unterkünften). Wenn das dem Vermieter bauartbedingt bekannt ist, sollte man Decken zur Verfügung stellen. - Zimmer konnte nicht richtig abgedunkelt werden. Es gab Vorhänge, aber die waren 10 cm vom Fenster weg (siehe Foto), da bringt das nicht viel und an der Tür war keine Verdunkelung - dafür Ausblick durch schmutzige Scheiben auf die verschmutzte und ungepflegte Aussentreppe in das Untergeschoss
