+It was a beautiful clean room and the location was very central.
−Our welcome was so impersonal and not friendly. No helpful info re the city or anything. The bath was too high and very slippy.

“Great location, spacious apartment with windows that opened and reasonably comfortable.”
+It is located in the heart of Firenze’s historic centre. We were able to walk to the beautiful locations on our list. We enjoyed the old city enormously.
−The shower frequently stopped in the middle of a shower. Some furnishings were tired and stained. The kitchen was poorly equipped and the dishwasher poorly maintained and didn’t work well. We were not supplied with detergent for either the dishwasher or manual washing up until we requested it. The bathroom was small and a bit primitive but functional.

+It was quiet in the midst of a very busy neighborhood. Interesting building and furnishings. Great location for an early morning visit to the Uffizi. Housekeeping staff were kind and showed us where to stow our luggage for a few hours after we checked out.
−There was a very bad smell that might just be typical of centuries old buildings, or bad plumbing, but it was hard to sleep for me with the smell.

“Our stay was nice. The shower was amazing.”
+We loved the room and the location. The person working there was very helpful. He stored our luggage for about an hour and arranged a taxi to the airport for us.
−Having documents requested to be sent electronically instead of waiting for us to check them in person.

“Avoid this place! Awful accommodation!”

−Tea/coffee/water not replaced daily. Unable to use air conditioning units as they were very noisy. During my visit the temperature range was from 32 to 36 degrees!. When I told management about it on the second day they sent out a technician to look at them. He said they needed a new compressor but nothing was done about it. The tv did not work! The technician came to look and the remote control batteries were flat. Windows are not soundproof. While the place is situated on a small street it was noisy every night and into the night! A couple of nights people were shouting and laughing until 4am!.When showering the water supply would stop at least once during each shower then return with cold water. We returned to the room three times during the week to find the apartment door left open. I assume it was housekeeping. When I told management they didn’t seem to be concerned. You have breakfast in a cafe about a 5 minute walk. You have one drink and 2 pastries. On booking the place I was promised there would be gluten free options however I was offered gluten free cake on 3 consecutive days of which was hard and stale. We were promised by the cafe owner he would supply gluten free muff

“Not worth the cost”

−Very unsatisfactory. They had no power when we arrive nor did they have a check in desk or staff. A/C did not work either and the room had a very strong smell.

“Passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre hébergement”
+Ce que j’ai le plus aimé, c’est l’emplacement de l’établissement et le fait de pouvoir découvrir Florence facilement.
−En revanche, ce que j’ai le moins aimé, c’est le manque de confort réel par rapport à ce qui était annoncé, notamment le Wi-Fi décevant, l’insonorisation insuffisante des fenêtres et les cris dans la rue la nuit qui nous ont empêchés de bien dormir. Mais ce qui m’a surtout déçue, c’est la façon dont nos plaintes ont été prises en charge. Nous avons reçu des excuses, mais aucune véritable solution concrète. Pour un séjour en chambre supérieure, à l’occasion de notre anniversaire, je m’attendais à une expérience bien plus agréable et à une meilleure considération de la part de l’établissement.

“Goed na aanloop problemen”
+De kamer (nummer zeven) en de locatie waren zeer goed. de centrale ruimte op de derde etage was enorm prettig om te zitten, erg attent om alvast de minikoelkast met wat drinken en snacks te voorzien. Housekeeping personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op zich niets mis mee maar zo'n B&B is wel anoniem.
−Bij de start moeizame en slordige communicatie (over reeds betaalde toeristenbelastingen) om de toegangscodes op de dag zelf te krijgen. Gelukkig was er housekeeping om de deur te openen en kon ik de kopie reeds betaalde belasting tonen. Daarna ging verder alles soepeltjes. Weer ervaren dat 24/7 receptie handing is, of in ieder geval totdat je incheckt. Douche is niet zo krachtig. Ronduit slecht is het ontbijt buiten het hotel, een jus, een koffie en een klein broodje (of twee koude croissants met vulling). Daarna is alles extra betalen. Beter kamer boeken zonder ontbijt. Jammer dat kamer, hotel geen buitenruimte heeft. Minimaal gelijkwaardige en goedkopere alternatieven zijn er zeker te vinden. Nogmaals kamer en locatie en aanwezige housekeeping top.
