“Apricot Pension”
+Booked our stay last minute as we had a car and flexible plans for a few days. The owner (Grace) was so friendly and helpful with everything. The location was great with a 10 minute walk into the main street for food and easy to access bus services into the ski slopes. It was also our first time skiing and grace and her team were so helpful with recommendations and advice where to book everything. We'll definitely be back.

“It was a good stay and we would definitely come back.”
+Breakfast, friendly staff, equipment/dry room, location and overall vibe.
−There wasn’t a convenience store nearby but that’s no fault of the property.

“Amazing and accomodating hosts in a convenient location”
+The welcoming atmosphere and the hosts were all so so lovely and accomodating. During our stay, the host made us feel super welcomed and comfortable throughout, were able to communicate in English fluently which we found super helpful. The included breakfast was also great variety!

+We had an excellent stay at Apricot Pension. The staff were so kind and helpful and even gave us a gift of tea when we checked out. Location was right next to a shuttle bus connecting you to all the ski fields, and only a short walk to the echoland main street for food. Breakfast was included and delicious every morning. Would definitely stay again.

“Homely decor & friendly staff”
+Very homely and cozy environment, staff were super friendly and felt like we stayed at someone's home. Breakfast was simple yet diverse as it's different everyday, good enough for an active morning of skiing. Decor was excellent and kids felt right at home, which allowed them to look forward to chilling at after a long day at the slopes. Dinner was also pleasant surprise - the freshly made pasta dishes were one of the best we have had, and the lava cake was timed to perfection. Compliments to the chef!
−The toilet was a tad too small (though typical of Japanese stays), and had a faint but constant drain/toilet smell. Smell is slightly more distinct when exhaust fan is switched on so probably something to do with the piping of the toilet to the bathtub/sink drains.

“駐車の管理だけちゃんとしてほしい。”
+ラウンジには、電子レンジが用意されていたので持ち込んだご飯を温めることができた。
−駐車場の管理が雑なため、車の鍵を預けていたにもかかわらず、ホテルに不在の人の車が邪魔で、チェックアウト後にすぐ車が出せない状況でした。何のために鍵を預けていたのか分からないです。
