10.0“A gem close to Shakespeare”
+It is located near the highway for ease of getting into town, but bucolic and pleasant. All the bathroom fixtures are sturdy and functional, with plenty of hot water on demand. The room itself is nicely decorated and furnished with comfy bed and chairs, a tiny but functional kitchenette, and handy folding tables for using as needed for meals or writing or keeping a book on. The hot tub is private and fun, with colored lights and bubbles under the stars, with a view of the interesting sunset skyline. Did I mention the capacious bathrobes and huge spa towels? Or the little white-sound machine to cover the rush of Hwy 5 traffic? The free ice cream in the ice box on the back porch? The very real possibility of being offered a piece of fresh apple pie? Or the on-loan blankets for taking to the Elizabethan Theater?
−I wish that poor mare on the neighboring property hadn't been so ill, but her son the pinto gelding was doing his best to keep her comfortable, and he did like those carrots we gave him...

10.0“Better than expected”
+Lisa, the owner is a delight and totally amazing. There is not one detail she left unmet. As a matter of fact, she included things that I would consider over the top like makeup remover (I’m a man so I do not need it, but I’m still aware), Qtips, bathroom reading material, OFF for mosquitoes. There were also TONS of snacks. The freezer was full of ice cream treats and she told us to help ourselves. The rooms had candies, coffee, BISCOTTI(!), health bars, cookies. It was amazing. There were enough towels for the Osmond Family. And a sweet horse named Bubba who loves carrots which she supplied. We had a blazing time in Ashland and I am going back. I will stay here again. Oh, and did I say the price was great???

10.0“Absolutely Charming”
+The charm and country comfort of the Orchard Suite was a highlight of our trip. Nestled in the middle of a pasture with two horses and bucket of carrots to feed them, a freezer full of ice cream bars to beat the heat, a cozy room for midsummer night dreams, owls swooping through the fields at dusk, and about a 10-minute drive to the Ashland Shakespeare Festival all combined to make our trip to Ashland perfect.

10.0“Charming rural stay”
+We loved the rural setting and Lisa's hospitality! She was super helpful and gave the great suggestion of seeing Raisin in the Sun at the Shakespeare Festival. The room was clean and comfortable, with lots of fabulous special touches! We would absolutely come back!

9.0“Very cute and well appointed studio in Ashland!”
+What a fun little find - way better than any comparably priced motel in Ashland. Super cute and comfortable with many many amenities. We’d love to return. So convenient and relaxing. Delightful host!
−The only negative was the distant freeway hum.

9.0“We we’ll be back. The bed was comfy and our dogs liked it there too. Good value!”
+It felt private and with lots of little details that made us feel welcomed and at home.
−You can hear I5 which is close by. But the room is well insulated.
