“Lovely apartment but check in process needs improved”
+The room was very clean and comfortable.
−The check in process could be improved, as you are told which room number you're in and the keys are left in the door with the room open, but there is no reception or staff. When we arrived (around 10pm) our room had incorrectly been taken by another guest. We messaged the staff and were advised to go into another free room, they specified which room number we should take (with the key in the door) and we assumed the issue was resolved. About 1am another guest knocked on our door who had just arrived, saying we were in their room. We had to explain the situation to them, apologised we had been placed in their room, and as they couldn't get in touch with anyone they just took a random free open room that still had the key in the door. This was disruptive for us and could have been avoided if the first guests had taken the correct room, and again if we had been advised to go to a room that was definitely free.
