“HORRIBLE!”
+The location was the only redeeming factor of this establishment.
−Apparently a switch to a different accommodation than what was selected when booked. My fault for not verifying the confirmation. This apartment was very difficult to find. Thank heavens for GPS, as there was no assistance from the owner who later cited internet problems. Once we located the apartment, we discovered that the room I was given was on the ground floor, 20ft away from a busy restaurant. Not the room with a balcony as booked. The one window was barred and covered with heavy curtains. No natural light at all. In addition to being dark and dreary, the TV did not work, the refrigerator was warm, and the reading light did not work. The entertainment was listening to the restaurant patrons until midnight. We contacted the owner about the TV and lamp. We were told the earliest they would look at it was the day after check-out. If things weren't bad enough, on the second day we were privileged to be met by a pile of human excrement outside the main apartment entrance. I can't fault the owner for this one. When we arrived home, I contacted Booking.com about this dismal situation. They did their best to reach an agreement with the owner who refused to negotiate any amount of ref

“Very cute apartment in a central location”
+It was so centrally located but quiet. It was very cute inside.
−We thought from the photos that we would have a balcony, but the photos were of a different unit. We could have sat outside though as it was a peaceful little area.

−Attention to guests was terrible. Check in Was abysmal. No instructions and WhatsApp number didn't work. Nor did they respond to email. Apartment indicated toiletries and there were none.

“Nicely planned and outstandingly clean apartment with amazing terrace for central location”

−Access was frustrating…code for outdated key safe didn’t work…a call explained very quickly that I could retrieve the key from the inside of the door which I did, (but you need long arms!) while doing this a smoker was watching me which raised a concern about security - it is a bit of a smokers corner outside. I booked on the basis of the photograph showing the front of the building but my access was at the rear which is not so attractive.

“Great location in Split!”
+Great location! Nice place to stay for a night or two. Had an efficiency kitchen set up and a nice big outside balcony.
−The bed area was tight but manageable. The balcony was great but obviously had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. We had to wipe down table and chairs.

−Our room was next door to the laundry room, ( first level as you enter building) which smelled VERY damp and everything smelled of mildew. It was a sickening smell. The AC barely put out any air and we were very hot and did not get much sleep.

“A central studio small but clean. Fine for 1 or 2 nights.”
+The studio is very central. With a good clean bathroom. The room is very small with just enough room to walk around the bed. It is absolutely fine for a one night stay.
