10.0“Any closer you'd be sleeping in the ruins”
+You can't get closer to the old town; friendly staff, big enough room, comfortable bed and good shower
−Nothing; it's true there isn't a lift but it isn't a huge problem unless you have mobility issues. Location second to none; I'd definitely recommend and stay again!

6.0“Very central”
+This is very central the staff are very nice and were helpful. We had a couple of breakfasts in the cafe downstairs. We had the hot tub room the bed was comfortable and clean. The furniture is very basic no where to put anything, there’s a ganging rail with four hangers. The room at the back of the accommodation is quiet
−The water had to be switched on due to the time of year, but still was t hot. There is a painted floor in the bathroom and bedroom with no covers at all except a thin rug at the side of the bed. The hot tub area looks undesirable and didn’t feel clean so I didn’t use it. The stairs are challenging going up and down and not for anyone with mobility issues. You get the room door access code and internet access details on a bit of paper

1.0“This Hotel is a Rip Off. I would not stay there again if it were free.”
+We liked absolutely nothing about this hotel.
−Staff not at all helpful or courteous. Room was very old, small and above the bistro which was noisy. It was also very near the commuter train which rumbled by until midnight and resumed at 6:00 AM. Our room was on the second floor with a very steep, narrow staircase. We were offered no assistance by staff. They could not have cared less. I requested a refund but was denied…of course. The hotel is not accessible by car so we had to schlep our luggage at least 1/4 mile. Worst hotel experience in my lifetime.

8.0“A surprisingly comfortable stay in a great location, once you get used to the ambient sounds.”
+So - I booked this place based on a facebook recommendation when I needed a cheap spot at the last minute and couldn't find anything else available. I have to admit - when I arrived I thought I wasn't going to be able to deal with the sound - all the good things that had been proffered were true - location a 4 minute walk from Monastiraki square, view of the Acropolis and Ancient Agora site out the window, discount on breakfast at restaurant - but - how could no one have mentioned that the subway/trains go right by, about every 5-10 minutes, with just a one lane sidewalk between the restaurant and the tracks? I thought I would have to move as I had 4 days and couldn't imagine dealing with the train noise as well as the packed sidewalk with people going by at all hours! I was soooo tired, I decided I would see how I slept and then decide - WELL! - I slept the best at this place of my whole month long travels - I don't know why but I fell in love with the place - I felt very safe - the street car sounds receded into background along with the voices of everyone talking - the murmur was comforting. The woman running the hotel and the restaurant below was SO KIND and helpful! She quickl
−The only other thing that bothered me was the locks on the doors - it was a combination lock and the buttons made a loud chirping noise when you keyed each one in and then it would announce - "Unlocked" and then a few moments later "Locked" - so I knew when any of the other people in other rooms were back because I could hear the locks. I wish there was a safe in the room.

10.0+The location was perfect, the room was spacious, it has very good lock system.
−If you want to go to sleep before midnight, it may be too busy place for you. Who would go to sleep before midnight on holiday in Greece.

7.0+L'emplacement
