“House in the Green”
+I absolutely loved the hostel, especially the large common areas, with plenty of tables and chairs, and the beautiful swimming pool. The pool is large and deep, which isn’t always a given, and it’s perfect both for swimming and relaxing. I also really loved the atmosphere of the place. It has the feeling of a house in the middle of the forest, surrounded by greenery, peaceful and relaxing. It feels much more like staying in a home than in a typical hostel, which made the experience even more enjoyable. After one month in Thailand, mostly staying in dormitories, I was looking for a private room where I could relax a little and get away from the usual hustle and bustle. This was the perfect place for that. The Italian guy who runs the hostel was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning, always making sure that everything was in order , and it was. On my last day, it was pouring with rain when I was leaving, and he kindly lent me a raincoat. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture.
−For me, this wasn’t actually a negative , in fact, it was exactly what I was looking for , but it’s worth mentioning that the hostel is a little outside the main tourist areas. You definitely need a scooter to stay here, although having a scooter is almost essential when getting around Koh Samui anyway. There aren’t many restaurants aimed at foreign tourists nearby. However, there are several small local businesses along the street, which I personally think make the experience feel even more authentic and give you a better taste of everyday life in Thailand.

“Good Value Considering Koh Samui Prices”
+The private room was nice and clean, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute bike ride away, which is very convenient. The hostel is very quiet, which is great if you’re looking for a peaceful place to relax. I barely saw anyone using the common areas during our stay.
−We booked a private room. As it’s a hostel, we assumed there would be a fully equipped kitchen, but there’s no stove, only a sink, microwave, and kettle. The pool is very clean, but there are only two sunbeds without cushions, even though there’s plenty of space for a few more. The lady who runs the hostel was friendly enough. We rented a scooter from her, but you need to know exactly how many days you want it for, as she prepares a rental contract and keeps your passport during the rental. I’m not sure how it works if you’re unhappy with the scooter and want to swap it for a different one. There isn’t much around the hostel, but that wasn’t an issue for us because a busier area with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops is only about a 15-minute scooter ride away.

+Originally booked for 2 nights here and ended up extending longer. The hotel is so beautiful with the pool to sit and relax. When I arrived my room was not ready so I was given a bigger room free of charge. I have been so well looked after here, the food is so delicious and I have enjoyed my stay here very much. If you are looking for somwhere busy and bustling, this is not the place you want. Here is very relaxed and beautiful surroundings. I stayed here for a week as a holiday before heading back to work and it's exactly what I was looking for. Can't recommend this accommodation more and i think everything was perfect whilst I was here.t Thank you very much for my stay 😊

+Den Thailandske familie, de er altid smilende og søde.
−Jeg er nød til at snakke om Flavio. Han er den mest respekløse person, jeg nogensinde har mødt på et hotel. Han er altid sur, aldrig glad eller imødekommende, snerrer af en, kommer med spydige kommentarer. Havde bestilt en taxi, for at komme til færgen, den sidste dag. Jeg spurgte om der kom en taxi. Her er hans svar "åbenbart ikke" jeg blev så vred over hans kommentar. Jeg kan på INGEN måde, anbefale dette sted, på nogen som helst måde. Der har været flere situationer, som jeg ikke gider og nævne her.
