“Amon Guesthouse A Welcoming Place in Abu Simbel”
+Our room with a view over the lake, the bathroom was great, but above all the kindness of our host who did everything he could to make our visit comfortable, ferrying us to Abu Simbel and arranging a sunsrise boat trip to the temple, and keeping our coffe and tea cups full.

“Pure joy, genuine connection”
+I love how simple Amon guest house is, you have everything you need for the trip. And the owner is amazing, the most genuine person we met during the whole Egypt trip. The breakfast was prepared by them, very nice facing the river. It’s pure joy, would love to come back again.

+Sunset I saw at the place of the property. Very good. Owner is a very good guy whom you can rely on to arrange transportation from Aswan to Abu Simbel and tickets of the temple.

“An outstanding stay with the warmest hospitality”
+Everything was wonderful. The owner Adel was an exceptional host, and the care and attention he gave us made our stay feel special. The room was fully equipped, with air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi; the bathroom and shower were great, and we slept very comfortably. There was bottled water available for guests in a small fridge in the corridor. The guest house is right by the lake, and the sunset from our room was beautiful. The owner even drove us to the temples and refused to accept a tip. And the breakfast was the best we had in any of the eight hotels we stayed at in Egypt.
−There was very little to dislike. I booked several months in advance to secure the room, but later noticed that the price was around €30 lower when I checked shortly before arrival. That was just a small regret about my booking timing, though,it didn’t affect our excellent stay.

“A good nights sleep before an early start to explore the temple”
+Well located on the bank of the Reservoir, this is a gem of a place to stay. The owner could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms recently refurbished to a high standard. And the beds were so comfortable. It’s a 15 minute walk to Abu Simbel, or a 3 minute taxi ride. There are good restaurants in the town a 5 minute walk from the property

+Zona stupenda, bel tramonto sul fiume, camera curata in ogni dettaglio. Ottima cena casalinga e colazione abbondante. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, disponibili e sempre sorridenti, ci hanno portato al tempio nel cuore della notte per vedere "il miracolo del sole". Soggiorno super consigliato! Thank you!!!

+Il faut souligner la qualité de l'accueil d'Adel, le responsable de l'établissement. Il est venu nous chercher à la station de bus, nous a emmené sur le site puis est venu nous rechercher. Il nous a réservé les billets pour le son et lumière, nous a déposé au restaurant le soir. Le lendemain il nous a raccompagné à la station de bus. Tout cela Gracieusement ! L'hôtel est bien tenu. La chambre est très propre, confortable et au calme : face au Lac Nasser. Le petit -déjeuner est copieux et généreux.
