7.0+Overall a great property! I enjoyed how close we were to nature and the staff were lovely!
−The open concept often presented a challenge, especially when we had large ants swarming our bed at night and the kitchen. There were also sac-winged bats roosting over our bed and often leaving droppings on our bags, which can pose a significant health risk, especially hantavirus. I am a wildlife biologist so I am fully aware that it's a jungle full of wildlife. Just writing this as it may be uncomfortable for others, including my wife.

10.0“Wonderful house with great owners”
+The location is amazing. It was much better than the pictures on the site. The greeting when I arrived was very friendly and helpful and they explained everything to me, showed me where to park and showed me around the house. It was very clean and the kitchen had more than what would be needed to cook a meal and some coffee and oil was provided as well. The meal I had in the restaurant was delicious and it was a great little spot to eat with WiFi. It was right at the start of the trails to explore Bolita trails, the office was just a little before Amazonita which was at the end of the road
−It was a great stay, the mattresses could be updated but it was a minor issue.

10.0“If you are looking for a rainforest getaway, this is your place! What a hidden gem!”
+The host family was amazing. They cooked delicious meals and helped us practice our Spanish. They were so sweet to our kids and definitely made us feel like home. The bungalow was secluded and comfortable, yet completely open to the jungle. I wish we could have stayed longer!

10.0“An amazing experience we will never forget”
+The location and hospitality of the personnel. The house is open (no windows, nothing) but sleeping there was great, hearing the sounds from the forest (from inside the mosquito net). We did a few tours with Kerley and that was great. He is calm, very knowledgeable and great with kids. We also went horse riding in the direct environment, through the village, along (and through) the river and into the jungle. An amazing experience. The family that takes care of Amazonita is sweet and warm, they made us feel very welcome. We were sad to leave.

8.0“An experience never to be forgotten”
+Whilst we all loved the experience of staying here and wouldnt change it, it was not what we expected in terms of accommodation and we wouldnt re-book. The experience of the jungle was priceless and we loved the jungle living but the accommodation was not as it is advertised and the people "looking after us" were (whilst very nice) a bunch of young lads because the owner was away.
−The mosquito nets had holes in them. No-one cleaned so after 5 days of 4 people using the toilet and putting the toilet tissue in a bin (as is expected in costa rica) it got very smelly despite me cleaning the "room" myself. Old wine bottles and beer cans from previous visitors just stacked behind the kitchen. We booked breakfast but the lovely young man running the place "slept in" so we had to wait an hour. But - like i said - jungle living was an experience I will never forget for only fabulous reasons.

9.0“Amazing”
+The lodges are very pretty and fully equipped of everything you need. The forest is amazing and it is a cool experience to sleep in it. The your owner is very nice, always kind and friendly like his family. You can have breakfast and dinner cooked by them and the food is simple but very good. The road to get there is doable with 4x4 wheels car.
−The only thing i can mention is that nobody speaks any English but only Spanish
