“Great camp, beautiful location not in Iquitos tho”
+Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!

“The Amazon is wild”
+Great trip to the Amazon and Iquitos. However, travelers should have the right expectations going into it. We visited in the rainy season and it rained, a lot. There are tons of Mosquitos and plenty of other bugs. We visited one other Eco lodge and Amazon camp is the equivalent to the holiday inn express. It's a great value, suited for kids with an onsite swimming pool, etc but don't compare it to other lodges that are triple the price. We had a good trip and it was a great value. The guides were great but it made it much easier that we spoke some Spanish. Most of the other guests were from Lima.

“Amazon Camp is Awesome!!!”
+This place wasn't about how clean the room was. It was an ecotourism resort right on the edge of the river in the amazon rainforest. If you need to be clean and comfortable all the time the Amazon is probably not the place for you. If you love nature, nice people and adventure then I can definitely recommend this spot. I loved it here. Learn some Spanish though, it will definitely help.
