“Nice facilities and kind staff, would recommend.”
+We arrived during a power outage so there was no electricity but the staff were very kind and took good care of us. The food they made us was really good and they helped us organise a taxi for when we were leaving. The room is very clean and when they got the electricity working we had a heater to keep us warm.
−If you are planning on hiking the barskoon waterfall you should know that it is an hour walk from this guest house.

“Small things matter”
+The hot water was very good, they also have heaters in the room which makes the late nights comfortable.
−This was such a frustrating experiences, lots of miscommunications and perhaps lack of care from the host. It started with the sauna being separately charged (1000 som per hour, fair, though I had thought it was included as it was highlighted as a feature, and from my experiences they are included normally), to telling us dinner is 600 per head and ended up being 820 per due to charging the tea separately (!!) and tax, and finally to me paying the bill at check out and the lady pretty much didn’t want to give me the change (30 som is nothing but I find the gesture dishonest). I don’t expect shampoo in a shared bathroom but there’s no handwash anywhere to be found and you definitely want to use soap after using the toilets. For breakfast we asked for one porridge and one pancake, again, maybe miscommunication, we didn’t get that we got two porridges. Additionally, the room door doesn’t lock and we saw a tiny mouse getting into the yurt at dinner, which is probably not uncommon here, at check out at 10/11am, we had to explicitly ask for the gate to be opened.. it feels the host is new to the business and isn’t very thoughtful. Overall it was not a good experience.

+We have stayed there for a night and it was an amazing stay. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again to AltyGat. Highly recommended place.

+Mit Abstand die schönste Zeit die wir in unseren 25 Tagen Kyrgyzstan hatten! Die Besitzerin ist total nett und sehr hilfsbereit, auf dem Grundstück viel Grünfläche zum entspannen und sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen wirklich hervorragend. Wir wollten eigentlich nur eine Nacht bleiben, haben dann aber noch eine weitere dran gehängt weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Für uns war es wirklich perfekt, um zwischen stressigeren Reisephasen zu entspannen. Da wir beide vegetarisch sind, hat die Besitzerin vegetarisch für uns gekocht und wir träumen immer noch von ihrem Essen und es wird uns definitiv als kulinarisches Highlight in Kyrgyzstan im Kopf bleiben!

Мы до сих пор вспоминаем ваши вкуснейшие завтраки, обеды и ужины , вы готовили с такой любовью и теплотой, что каждый кусочек казался особенным. Отдельное спасибо за вашу трогательную заботу: за то, что в холодные дни вы дали нам тёплую одежду и предоставили прекрасную юрту с потрясающим видом на горы. Это было лучшее место для отдыха, которое мы только могли представить! Спасибо за ваше радушие, открытые сердца и бесконечную доброту. Вы не просто встретили нас , вы окружили нас заботой. Особая благодарность за практическую помощь: за то, что помогли решить вопросы с транспортом и сделали наше путешествие лёгким и приятным. Этот отдых мы не забудем никогда. Вы навсегда остались в наших сердцах. Для нас именно вы стали воплощением лучших качеств кыргызского народа , радушия, доброты, отзывчивости и щедрости. Огромное вам спасибо за всё!

+מארחות מדהימות - שתי אחיות והאחיינית המתוקה שלהם (שגם דוברת אנגלית מעולה!) באירוח מפנק, אכפתי וטעים במיוחד! חדר נוח עם מיטה זוגית נוחה מקלחות ושירותים נקיים ומתוקתקים אוכל טעים ממש! ומרחבים ירוקים למול ההרים - ממש קרוב למפלים. זמן של שקט ושלווה באירוח שכל כולו לב!

+Uns hat eigentlich alles gefallen. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich. Natürlich ist Ali der Star gewesen ;). Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Die Sauna war auch schön und ist mit Holz beheizt, was nach einem Wandertag in den Bergen einfach fantastisch ist.
−Kleinigkeiten etwa, dass die Toiletten draußen sind, ist wirklich kein großes Drama.
