+Having a kitchen was good and also liked having two bedrooms with private baths. Also living room and a dining table gave us room to all gather together and visit.
−The smell when you first enter was most likely due to old carpet. The twin bed mattresses were bad. Very bouncy. There apparently is no noise curfew. Noisy neighbors every night we were there. Very outdated and overpriced.

−Me and my wife have bad knees had to climb 2- flights of stairs, there was massive size cobb webs and big spiders everywhere I killed several of them I showed the check in lady she agreed it was very unacceptable The first time we ever stayed there before this visit was very nice. This time was just very sorry like no one wanted to clean the place properly. The spiderwebs was out of controls covering the windows. The spiders were crawling all over the place and they were very big and its carpets. Have big stains all over them. It looks like nobody cleaned the place at all. The coffee maker has stains all in the coffee maker. It needs to be thrown away and y’all should put a new one in there other than that it was good.

+The staff was great. I lost some items one night and the night security personnel, Cathy, went above and beyond to help me locate the items I miss placed. She was absolutely incredible. Location to town is good, you come out behind Paul's Margarita Deck. The Alpine Crest is a good place to stay. Will return.

+It was like a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment (cabin feel) tucked in the mountains but close enough to walk to main street and reasonably priced. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was super nice. We enjoyed a game of pool in the clubhouse. The staff checked on us to make sure that we had everything that we needed to play. There was an indoor swimming pool at the clubhouse which a few guests were enjoying. The restrooms in the clubhouse were clean. It was a little dated but I didn't mind, everything worked as it should. I feel that is what gives it character. I enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
−Not that I didn't like it, just a few suggestions. The grounds around the pond could use some lighting and upkeep. The walking path to main street could use lighting but I'm not sure if that belongs to Alpine or the town (just a suggestion) While we were there it had rained and we noticed a gutter had fallen on the clubhouse that we didn't notice before. I'm sure they repaired it quickly, so a little maintenance here and there.

+Everything was GREAT! The road up to the chalet was a bit scary but added to the excitement.
−I feel this resort is often under appreciated in reviews. Perhaps people may not consider what a chalet in the woods along a river should be… We love it! Suggest adding reflectors on the driveway turns for nighttime traffic.

+Like most the comments on this resort it is very dated. Pretty sure Sophia and Rose and Dorothy stayed here 🤣. However it was incredibly clean and such an easy walk into town.
−The floors are incredibly squeaky in the high traffic area and you can hear your neighbors conversations. Our unit had carpet and we could small a faint smoking a ELL but the unit was very clean.
