+The tenants are adorables. The cosy comfort is here. The neighborhood is calm. The breakfast could be a Little bit more generous but they never refuse a refill. I highly recommend.

“A cozy, comfortable and clean home away from home.”
+Everything. The place feels like being at home, everything super nice and clean. We loved the terrace! The lady was always ready to help and accommodate what we asked for. The beds were very comfortable, good hot showers and cozy bedrooms. Excellent and safe location. We had a wonderful stay!

−I would like to mention that we left some of our belongings in the hotel for safekeeping while we were in Huayhuash. Unfortunately, it appears that someone went through our things. Everything was left in disarray, which was a clear indication that someone had searched through our belongings. On top of that, two packs of nuts, a shampoo, and a pin were taken. While these items are not of significant value, the act itself is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

+Nice rooftop and place to eat outside, cosy room, good cleaning service, delicious homemade jam for breakfast.
−Bad communication (only in Spanish and no effort to try to communicate in another language), no communication before about cash only policy, no hot shower (except when you ask for it and even then it is very short and difficult to regulate temperature), basic breakfast and sometimes too late (we really had to hurry to catch our bus for a hike). The thing that really stressed us out the most is that we asked to store our luggage for a few days while hiking the Santa Cruz Trek and that our luggage was not at the place we agreed. This was really inconvenient because we had to make different calls to get our stuff back. The lady did not even appoligize about this situation.

“Best hotel in Huaraz”
+This a beautiful family run hotel run by an amazing family. They put up with our not so fluent Spanish and helped cater to our specific needs whilst we were there. The breakfast was so good and the strawberry jam was to die for. Can’t recommend this hotel enough it’s amazing.

“nice hostal with nice hostal family without warm water in the shower”
+The hostal owner have been very nice and helpful. You could speak with the hostal family about private things. You could books tours in the hostal directly. The room was OK. The location of the hostal was around 1 km from the central place. We arrived at 7 a.m. in the morning and could immediately go into our room.
−There was a problem with the warm water in the room. After long tours we wanted to take a warm shower and that was unfortunately not possible. The hostal owner tried to solve the issue but couldn't solve it. It was not possible to pay with credit card. The price was too high for the simple breakfast and a room without hot water in the shower.

“Not a bad place to stay in Huaraz. Surely better than others.”
+Breakfast was basic scrambled eggs and bread. Not too bad. Coffee and cream very good and strong. The service is excellent.
−The lady offers her house, this sounds more like Airbnb.
