“It was ok but didn’t get any sleep.”
+Clean and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was great. Nice bar area:)
−The room was stark and walls are thin! The bathroom has those trendy barn doors which are really loud so you can hear the other rooms banging them open and shut all the time. No where to sit except the bed and a little office chair in the corner even though there’s lots of extra room for at least another chair and a little table. .Very noisy - neighbors up all night partying, with loud TV and music. There is a parking and pet fee, although neither were indicated until check in.

“We enjoyed our stay and we will be back again.”
+It was nice and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The shower was great and the employees were also very nice and friendly.
−I have no complaints. My bestfriend and I both enjoyed our stay.

“Aloft--a Mountain View hotel that has gone downhill over the years”
+I have stayed at this Aloft before, years ago, and I appreciate the design aesthetic. The decor has held up over the years.
−Previously parking was included in the room rate. Now it is an additional $15 daily fee--be aware that this location is situated where you would expect the majority of guests to drive and require parking. Furthermore, the lobby bar--which used to serve a decent cocktail--was a real let down this time. The bartender was out of tonic water, so I had to make do with ginger ale, yet the cocktail itself was full bar price. Finally, I had to check out one day early. The room rate was non-refundable, but I requested the staff member at check out to ensure that I was not charged for the final night's parking. Despite this request, the extra parking charge appeared on my credit card, so the issue required yet another phone call to straighten out. Bottom line: if you are traveling to Mountain View, be aware there are MANY hotels in this quality and price range which offer better service and facilities.

“It was fine and comfortable.”
+It was clean and easy to access. Basic but comfortable.
−Paying for parking We didn't eat breakfast because the options seemed limited to an expensive option that was larger than desired AI generated art at entrance Staff was not very friendly nor very helpful - we were traveling for a family gathering, but we travel very rarely and there was no sympathy for us not knowing exactly how things at this lodging worked.

+The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent, and overall I had a pleasant stay.
−The mini fridge was very noisy and caused the entire desk to vibrate, and the air conditioner was also quite loud, especially at night. Another issue was the pillows. There were several small cube-shaped pillows, which were very uncomfortable to sleep on. I'm not sure why the hotel chose this design,standard-sized pillows would have been much more comfortable.
