+I loved the position of the property and the view of open land. Breakfast was also good.

“Room 1 facilities not as described - beware!”
+Close to seaport Brodrick
−! Room 1 is advertised as a standard double room with private bathroom . This turned out to be a cramped and outdated room with twin beds and shower / toilet outside room across a corridor - would not have booked if this had been made clear Also subsequently saw reviews with same complaint so obviously description not updated despite feedback

“Shall definitely book there again”
+Wonderful breakfast, and staff were so friendly. Location was very quiet, and the walk to Brodick was fine, and convenient bus stops to the south.
−Lock was a bit wobbly on the bedroom door. Any chance of an ashtray or, ciggie bin near the bench please?

“Sorry but cannot recommend due to previous remarks - only stayed one night of two had to find another hotel more conveni”
+Not a lot
−Reception area lounge area dining area need serious refurbishment and strange smell in reception immediate on arrival - parking very limited - prefab accommodation and bathroom Very basic - no WiFi problem and location very far from Brodick long walk uphill with no street lights

“Really good place which with a little effort would be great”
+Breakfast was great. The fruit salad was a highlight Host was cheerful and welcoming oomph had every facility one could wish
−WiFi was available but did not allow Internet access. This was a major disadvantage as guests will want to check fery status or make golf, restaurant etc reservations. Carpeting throughout was very grubby with dog paw prints in many places including our rom where they had been left by a previous guest's dog
