+A very comfortable and clean hotel with a traditional style. The excellent and rich homemade breakfast is served in the courtyard, with a different selection of food every day, typical specialities too. The host speaks excellent English and is always ready to help with any needs you may have. The location is very central, yet the hotel is situated on a quiet street.

+We were really excited to stay here as it had good reviews. When we were dropped off by the taxi, we met the owner, and he was very nice and spoke great English. However, for some reason, he said we couldn't stay and asked us to cancel our reservation on booking. He took us to a place just a short ways away to stay. This new place wasn't very nice, and we had not a good room there. So I can't really rate the this place as we didn't stay there, and the owner was very friendly. But it was very disappointing to have our booking not honored.

“A genuinely lovely place run by wonderful people”
+Ali Nur was our happy place in Bukhara! The owners were among the warmest, most cheerful people we encountered on our entire journey through Uzbekistan. Their hospitality made our stay truly special. Make sure you take the time to talk to the owner, especially if you're looking for good places to eat away from the busy, overpriced tourist centre. He knows exactly where you'll be fed well! His recommendations led us to some fantastic local places and genuinely made our experience of Bukhara all the better. The room was very clean, and we had everything we needed. We were welcomed with tea and sweets on arrival, and when it was time to leave, the owners got up at some ridiculously early hour to say goodbye and even prepared a lunchbox for our journey. What a lovely gesture! And speaking of food, don't even think about skipping breakfast! The home-cooked delicacies are absolutely amazing and alone worth staying here for. The location is excellent, too, just a few steps from the old town. Ali Nur deserves more than 10 stars for its hospitality, atmosphere and overall experience. +Wonderful hosts and great breakfast! They provided recommendations for restaurants in the city and even gave me a to go breakfast when I left at 5:30am for my train. Would stay here again!

+The host was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The family was well-versed in English, which made communication very easy and comfortable. We were served a hearty and delicious breakfast every morning, with a different variety each day during our three-night stay. They also provided beer at a very reasonable price and offered currency exchange at an excellent rate. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, with great food, excellent service, and truly amazing hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to stay again!

“Short walk to town, but why leave? Perfect homestay.”
+The hosts were simply phenomenal. Breakfast every morning was beautiful and healthy. Courtyard was cool and shaded to beat the sun. The room was clean and satisfied our every need.

“Wonderful stay - book it, you won't regret it!”
+The family was so sweet! They waited up for me, even when I arrived after 1am. Breakfast was gigantic and they kept giving me more 😅 wifi and AC worked great. They also did my laundry for 50,000 som, I had it back the next day. Great location and they gave me great recommendations for lesser known sights.
−Like others have mentioned, the water pressure is not great but it does the job.
