2.0“Disappointing”
+Did not like anything. We didn’t see a person at all throughout our entire stay. A note was stuck on the door to tell us where to go. No one was there at breakfast. The room was dirty, the doors did not close properly, it was very cold, the shower was rubbish, the towels were old and tatty, issues with the TV.
−Nothing

5.0“Reasonable. Clean. Take your own towels.”
+Nice space. Good location. Clean.
−Rooms need modernising. Towels need replacing they’re just old torn rags at this point. Rooms were freezing but later boiling after requesting some heat. Could do with just setting a temp and leaving it.

4.0+Beautiful surroundings and room was nicely decorated
−Didn't see any staff. The room was cold. Heating did turn on eventually. The shower was terrible no water pressure and water cistern for the toilet did. not always fill. I hace since read many comments regarding the water problem but does not obviously get resolved. Basic breakfast offered

5.0“Overpriced.”
+Departing!
−This is a marketing con! 'Alercarr Hall' is not a hall. It is a modern house, set within a large garden, containing outside rooms, a beauty parlour plus small indoor pool. My room faced a gravel car park. The toilet was full of female hair. My stay 'included breakfast'. Just a bowl of serial, a yoghurt, a slice of toast and an apple. I would have been happier staying at a Travelodge or Premier Inn.

4.0+Peaceful
−You must have a car. It is remote and desolate. I had to walk a mile to get to a shop.Had taxis twice a day. Swimming pool not open at specified times.

7.0“Good location not far from town.”
+Bed was very comfortable, two single beds which we pushed together. Room was spacious and clean. The grounds looked beautiful. We arrived at night, and our room was at the back, even though it was dark, the pathway lit up as we walked towards the back, lighting our way. Didn't use the swimming pool, as it looked closed.
−The shower curtain could do with a good scrub at the bottom of it or replacing. The blind behind the bathroom door, where it meets the handle was not very clean. The staff member we met, could have been less abrupt and more friendly, a simple "good morning" and "good bye" would of been a good start! Spoke with I believe was the owner over the phone for directions, lovely, warm and friendly.

6.0+Plenty of parking space.
−Breakfast is few pieces of toast and tea - I wouldn't even consider that continental. Fan was very dusty - could have used a bit of cleaning/dusting of the equipment before summer.
