“A beautiful castle hotel with world-class service, the warmest welcome at reception, and wonderful care from Agatha at e”
+**A stay we'll never forget , five stars, and we'd give more if we could** From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at reception set the tone for the whole stay: warm, welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel itself is simply beautiful, and staying inside the castle is something we will never forget. The castle is indescribable , so amazing that words don't really do it justice. A special thank you to Agatha, our server, who looked after us wonderfully at every meal. Her kindness and attentiveness made dining here a real pleasure, and she is a genuine credit to the hotel. The service throughout was world class. We highly recommend Albergo Il Monastero, and we would stay again in a heartbeat.
−Everything was perfect.

“This is THE place to stay on Iscia!”
+We had a room with a balcony and the view was spectacular. The castle grounds were also beautiful. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and a comfortable dining area. The location was easy to get to and also to get around the island by bus. The staff were very gracious and helpful especially when our ferry off the island was cancelled at the last minute. They helped us make alternative arrangements.
−The room was comfortable but on the small size and could use more storage space. This is especially true in the bathroom which is very small. The overall experience was great but these are just small, helpful suggestions.

+The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The property is unreal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a nice addition if you're up earlier or in a bit of a rush. The art in the hotel is great.
−The location is a bit removed, so you have to walk a bit extra to access the bus. It can also be a bit confusing to leave the property as there are a lot of twists and turns.
