−I have never left a negative review before, but in this case, I simply couldn't help myself. I’ll start from the very beginning, this is going to be a long post. We had booked two nights in a double room with a balcony (the rooms located on the lowest floor) and reserved our remaining nights in a Deluxe Double Room. We were traveling with a Chihuahua, as pets are allowed at Hotel Akrotiri, however, when we went to the reception at the other hotel, "Grand Theoni," to pay, pick up the key, and check into Akrotiri, we were told the dog wasn't allowed in the lobby and had to stay outside. We were then told they needed to speak with the owner to pay the extra fee for the dog, which wasn't an issue, as the website states there is a €10 daily charge for pets. We went to the room, which was absolutely horrible, I’ll attach photos. There was dust under the wardrobe, the walls and furniture were stained, the terrace table hadn't been wiped down, the bathroom door wouldn't close at all, and the wardrobe door fell on my head the moment I opened it. A few hours later, they called me at 7:30 PM or 8:00 PM to say we’d have to pay an extra fee for the dog. It was apparently very important for them t

“Stay somewhere else”
+Good AC, roller shutter on outside door
−Had to go somewhere else to get keys. No cups in room, only a bottom sheet for the bed no other sheet, horrible pillows, worst mattress ever, could feel all the springs, had basically no sleep due to pins and needles from the springs. Paper thin walls, could hear the people next door, felt like we were in a rubbish tip.
