“Perfecto!”
+As a seasoned traveller and huge fan of Italy, I can only profess to have thoroughly enjoyed my week long sample of this enchanting and perhaps little lesser known slice of this beautiful country. For me, as a solo traveller, my accommodation can make (or break) a holiday. On this occasion fortune blessed me with the delights of Ai Marinai nestled in the heart of the madding Italiano Taranto city, although you’d wouldn’t believe it on stepping inside its cooled and cushy confines. It felt a true home from home from the outset, accentuated by my attentive welcoming host Patrizia. My room and bed were spacious and comfortable, cooled at ‘the’ perfect temperature, I slept so soundly every night, more so than at home! A fresh continental breakfast was served al fresco on the communal balcony with every effort made (a common theme) to accommodate my timings, and always served with the warmest of smiles by the lovely Tamara. Days out were some of my own and others Patrizia kindly recommended, always remaining on hand to help and advise on any matters however big or small throughout my visit. “A beautiful B&B in the heart of Taranto with breathtaking views!”
+Beautiful apartment close to everything, shops, restaurants, cafes. Old town is a few minutes down the road on foot. Breakfast was lovely. You can sit on the balcony, eat and admire the view of the sea. Apartment has an elevator. Apartment has all amenities , and is tastefully decorated. Housekeeper was a warm friendly person who would go out of her way to assist. She even helped me with my luggage. The host even organised a taxi for me to pick me up from the bus terminal. Would definitely stay again!

“A stay that felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, right by the sea in Taranto.❤️”
+I had a wonderful stay at this B&B, and it felt far more special than a typical hotel. The whole place has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and Patrizia is an incredibly kind, attentive host who makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The house itself is beautiful: a lovely balcony overlooking the sea and harbour, plus a spacious living and dining room. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh, generous, and clearly made with care. The location is fantastic too, right in the center with restaurants, shops, and lively spots just around the corner. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Italy.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Taranto”
+My stay at this B&B was truly exceptional and, in many ways, far better than staying in a hotel. The atmosphere was comfortable, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. A special mention goes to Patrizia, the host, who was extremely accommodating, warm, and courteous throughout our stay. Her hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home. The property itself is beautiful, with a charming dining area that overlooks the sea, offering stunning views and a serene ambiance. Despite visiting during a heat wave, the air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay at all times. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Tamara, who went above and beyond to prepare a delicious breakfast each morning. The fresh croissant, cut fruits, cappuccino, yogurt, and many other tasty options made for a wonderful start to each day. The location could not have been better. Situated in a prime area, the B&B is surrounded by excellent restaurants, shops, and some of the liveliest spots in the city, making it easy to enjoy everything Taranto has to offer. “Twin room does the job for 2 adults, but curb your expectations”
+Unbeatable location, excellent staff (breakfast lady is amazing), twin room has small doubles bed. Access to the coffee machine during the day. Water in the fridge, in the room.
−Bedside tables were way too high for the bed and lights didn't reach sockets. Bathroom has a bad smell from bad plumbing and a step in the middle of the bathroom which was an issue. Maybe my expectations were higher cause of all the good reviews, but I think the twin room could be improved.

“B&B exceptionnel, idéalement situé, vue magnifique sur la mer avec accueil très attentionné”
+Extrêmement bien situé, à la fois en plein centre et à deux pas du "centro storico" qui mérite vraiment d’être découvert. Depuis la terrasse, on peut voir la mer de tous les côtés. La chambre dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un séjour agréable : un grand placard, une vaste salle de bains et une terrasse intérieure. Ce B&B est extrêmement bien tenu. La propriétaire a beaucoup voyagé et connaît les standards et les petites attentions qui font la différence. Son assistante, Tamara, est une personne très attentionnée : elle saura vous écouter et veillera à ce que vous ne manquiez de rien.

“La visita è stata breve ma abbiamo visitato le parti più significative e storiche della città.”
+La posizione strategica baricentrica e vicinissima al centro storico e al centro più moderno della città. La vista dal quarto piano sul Castello Aragonese e sul mare dalle zone soggiorno e pranzo. Le zone giorno, soggiorno e sala colazione, comuni , sono molto spaziose ottimamente arredate e danno accesso ad un grande balcone. La zona centralissima è tranquilla. Noi eravamo in auto e nella zona è stato facilissimo trovare il parcheggio che , ovviamente , essendo in pieno centro è a pagamento ma con prezzi non elevati.

“Estadia maravilhosa!”
+A localização, muito perto da cidade velha e de todas as atrações. O acolhimento gentil, prestativo e atencioso, por parte da Patrizia. A acomodação é ampla e muito limpa, os produtos de higiene pessoal são ótimos. Lençóis e toalhas de boa qualidade, o café da manhã preparado com carinho pela Tamara.
