10.0“A wonderful stay in main Agava Heritage Hotel”
+We’ve been upgraded to Babina 16 ulica the main Agava Heritage Hotel instead of Krizeca Ulica 6 branch. The property was immaculate and full of character. It has a two-part structure: a main hall and an opposite block. We were assigned to the opposite block top floor room 12. The bedroom has a double bed and a child sofa bed. The window has the best view towards the sea and Split coast. The bathroom was in good size, had good lighting and was clean, with a powerful hot shower , not having an odour due to limited ventilation. It has a kettle, free teabags coffees and a mini fridge which you can purchase for e.g. water, wine, snacks etc. The big screen TV was working well but only when strong wind would lose signal slightly. Due to storm conditions, we stayed in the hotel room but were fully entertained and enjoyed watching tv and using high-speed internet. We were given a breakfast voucher to dine at B7 restaurant by the front of the port, 5 mins walk from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious you can choose from menu like French toast, egg Benedict, scrambled egg, granola , tea /coffee etc. The hotel located in vehicle free one. For those who wanted to get taxi transfers from/to airpo
−The top floor room remained some original stone wall character was pretty but slightly lacked insulation. Be aware of the narrow and steep staircase on the opposite block building especially after rain, with slippery marble floor tiles.

6.0“Good location but not at Hotel Agava”
+The room was clean and comfortable and close to the city centre
−It was unclear that the room wasn’t in the hotel at time of booking. It was actually 6 minutes walk from the hotel, which meant the pool was too far away to be bothered to visit. The room we had was up 4 flights of stairs and although clean and comfortable, the bathroom was tiny!

10.0+The breakfast was amazing and so many options for me and my partner as vegetarians. Generous servings and so many options! The best part though is the location, situated right in the heart of the old town everywhere you want to visit is only a stones through away and makes the experience more exciting being in the centre of Split Old Town.
−The room is quite small for the price but as a historic building its to be expected!

9.0“Lovely appartment - a great base for exploring Split!”
+The location was great, right in the middle of the old city in Split. It was about 7 minutes walk to the hotel that the apartments were linked to and the pool there was small but nice. It was really helpful that there were sunbeds and towels to use at the pool so we didn't need to take our own. The room was a decent size, with lots of space to move around and the bathroom was also spacious and the shower worked well. The aircon worked really well, and was appreciated in the heat! The communications were clear as to where we needed to collect our keys and how to return them afterwards.
−I didn't realise that the apartment was going to be on the 3rd floor and there was no lift. It wasn't too much of an issue but when you arrive quite late after a flight, it felt like a slog! It was also a bit confusing as to if the front door should be double locked each time.

5.0“Room was not close to pool at all, but conviently located close to the old town with good breakfasts.”
+Very clean, and close to the center of the old town. Breakfasts were very good and lots of healthy options. Staff were nice.
−Not close to the swimming pool, which wasn’t clear in the advert. About a 6 minute walk away. Shower and TV were broken and was a bit smaller than we expected. Photos made it look bigger.

6.0“False description”
+Location was good, it was clean
−The room was not close to the hotel. There were no facilities. Access to the room was up 4 flights of very steep stairs. The pool was not close to the room. None of this was described in the booking site

5.0“Location great, marketing misleading”
+Great Location. In old city minutes from the main tourist activities
−Rooms are not part of Agava Hotel. They are a 10 min walk away. Our room was up 3 flights of narrow, steep stairs - very difficult with luggage. Pool is at hotel, not here. Room very small. Renovated & modern but hard to fit 2 bags in.

−Not sure if it was the building, but there was quite a strong sewage smell throughout our stay.
