10.0“Great desert stay”
+This resort was further out than many others so whilst it took a bit longer to get there, the transport was pre-organised and it meant our views were beautiful. We did not get light pollution from Marrakech and this was a small resort with just 10 sleeping huts. We had a warm greeting from the manager with mint tea and could organise any excursions on arrival. There is an unheated swimming pool with lots of beds to relax on and a small area nearby with a pool table, table football and also some swings. We had a large tent with space for a large double bed, a single bed and a sofa. There is a separate indoor bathroom with running water/toilet/shower and air-conditioning is available. The covered balcony looked over the desert and also had a beautiful stand alone copper bath tub. As we arrived around lunch, we paid extra for a delicious lunch of grilled meats and veg. In the evening, we watched a show of local music and dancing whilst eating dinner. This was 3 different tagines with lots of smaller side dishes. They were able to accommodate our daughter's nut allergy too. After dinner, you had the option of mint tea by an open fire under the stars. Whilst there, some people went quad
−As the walls are a thick canvas, just be aware it gets light early so bring an eye mask!
