+Afroditi was an awesome place to stay! The location was absolutely perfect, and the owner is truly one of a kind. Such a great guy friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring about his guests. He made our stay even more special. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again!

“Nice stay, lovely owner but the flies in the bathroom was not a good experience.”
+Yannis the owner is very responsive and helpful. My flight was delayed and I arrived very late to the hotel but he made sure to hang around so he could greet me and check me in. During my stay he helped me with getting around locally and advising me on what to do. When it was time to leave he gave me lots of souvenirs and he also kindly paid for my taxi to take me to the bus station when I was leaving to go to chania airport. The bed was very comfy, and there was room service every day with fresh towels and slippers, and lots of water bottles. The owner will go above and beyond.
−There were flies in the bathroom and the kitchen area which were clearly coming from the drains. There were also some dead flies on the bathroom floor. I did mention this to Yannis and he ended up giving me fly spray to spray, but unfortunately they still kept on coming. I don’t know if it was this particular room that there were flies in. This did really put me off using the bathroom as every time I would go in the shower they would be in the shower cubicle and on the walls in the bathroom. It was a fly battle every day with me arming my self every day with a fly spray !!!!

+Great location and super helpful host (came with me to show me the carparking whic was covered by the accomodation). . Apartment was very well equiped and surprisingly quiet considering the central location. It is a little dated (and brown), but this is part of the charm and makes a nice change from the 'ikea' style of most places
−Nothing. Perfect gor a central Rethymo stay at a good price.

“Exceptional host, has mapped the entire city for sights, food (top rating) & drinks.”
+Location & ever obliging host
−Car parking issues but they are more than adequately managed by Iannou’s offers of parking permits, advice on alternative spots during the day (when his closest car park is the Thursday Narket (until 4pm).

“Very good in every way, outstanding kindness. Absolute recommendation.”
+The apartment was as described. Very beautiful, traditional interior. Very kind owners who support in every way possible. Easy transport from HER airport, organised by the hotel owners. We also had to visit a hospital once, the support from the owners was outstanding. Absolute recommendation.

“Wonderful reception by Yannis who also shared many wonderful local suggestions. Yannis was very easy to communicate with”
+Fantastic location, especially as I was only able to stay one night. This gave me the ability to enjoy Rethymno more efficiently!
−Some elements feel a bit outdated but everything you need is there and everything was very clean! The older elements are part of the charm.

+Zentral gelegen, groß, sehr freundliches Personal bzw. Besitzer, alles da was man braucht
−Das ausgeklappte Sofa war zum Schlafen ziemlich unbequem, sehr hart. Das Obst im Kühlschrank war leider nicht mehr frisch
