“Basic breakfast, very late check-in. Room was comfortable.”
+Comfy bed, clean room Breakfast in the room meant we could leave as early as we liked
−We chose not to have cooked breakfast. The 'continental' breakfast in the room was basic. No fruit. Coffee bags rather than a cafetiere or Nespresso machine. It's very unusual for a b&b check in to be as late as 6pm (or 5:30, depending on which part of the listing you read). We'd hiked from Farnham and were able to drop our bags off at 5 15 so we could change our shoes. It was quite hard to find because there is no house numbered 12 (the actual address), just 12a. It wasn't a problem for us that the location is uphill from the town and has limited parking. However, that might be an issue for some people.

“Disappointing.”
−Lack of host at the property was disappointing, despite promise to come and see us when she came home. Luckily her daughter was home to assist with access to room and advise of street parking limits. Very late afternoon check-in not convenient given the distance to town. Lack of mobile reception was also a problem.

+I have never felt more at home in a B&B. I am a touring actor and constantly away from home and I wish I could take this place with me on all my tours. Thank you, Gina for making everything so comfortable and welcoming.
