“Highly recommended!”
+This is a truly ancient city, and the apartment is right in its very heart. It is a kind of cave - the apartment is part of an ancient cave. Antony, the owner, lives on the lower level. He told us that the structure is over 8,000 years old and was carved out of stone over the centuries. The apartment is comfortable, with excellent beds, pillows, and clean towels. The bathroom is luxurious, with its own mini pool and various lighting.

+My sons and I had a wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the Sassi, with everything within easy walking distance, while still allowing you to really experience the unique atmosphere of Matera. The hosts deserve a special mention. The owner and his wife are genuinely warm, kind and helpful people who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed after long days of exploring. Matera was one of the highlights of our trip, and staying here made the experience even more special. We would happily come back and can definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this incredible city.

+Everything. Antonio and his wife are fabulous. They have thought of everything. So many little touches make a huge difference. For example the bathroom products, you could walk in with nothing and still be more than comfortable. They even provided dental kits! The bath/shower was epic. We’ve been travelling Italy for 2 weeks and this has been the best accommodation by a long way. The bed and pillows were excellent and it was spotlessly clean. They provided a fabulous breakfast and again, so much thought went into it. They gave a vast gluten free selection for my Husband too. The hosts were readily available and very kind. The parking was very close (you’ll realise how lucky that is when you see the streets!) and it was secure. Worth every penny of the €18. This sets the standard for how B&Bs should operate. The location in the old town is also excellent. A minutes walk to cafes, bars and restaurants. Truly a gem.

“Una finestra sui sassi !”
+Soggiorno meraviglioso e assolutamente perfetto! Il B&B è nuovissimo, impeccabile nella pulizia e super accessoriato con tutto ciò che si possa desiderare (e anche di più). La posizione è ottima, ma il vero gioiello è il bagno: la finestra si affaccia direttamente sui Sassi, regalando una vista mozzafiato che sembra letteralmente un quadro d'autore. La colazione è abbondante, squisita e ricchissima, capace di soddisfare qualsiasi voglia. A fare la differenza, però, è il proprietario: una persona super gentile che ti accoglie e ti tratta come uno di famiglia, attento a esaudire ogni richiesta con una cura e una premura disarmanti. Un posto magico da cui non vorresti mai tornare a casa. Consigliatissimo!

+Està molt ben ubicat aprop dels sassi. L'apartament és molt ampli i el bany molt gran i equipat. El millor l'Antonio, molt atent i sempre disposat a complau-re'ns.

+Tutto straordinario! Una chicca in Matera ! Il posto vale il viaggio! Personale il Sig. Antonio e la moglie molto cortese e super disponibile ci torneremo!!!
