“Perfect find in the Welsh Countryside”
+What a find!! I was called to work in the area at last minute and had a very slim chance of getting in somewhere. Admittedly skipped the part that mentioned it was off grid so was a bit shocked when I got there and read the users guide. But...what a find!! Such a gloroius view of the valley and tucked away where you can be at peace with nature and the stillness of the country. I didn't even notice the "off-grid" thing, lights were bright and there was never an issue feeling like I had to be quick about what I was doing. Communication with the host was great and it was an all in all fantastic experience. Highly recommended if you just want an escape into the country.

“Absolutely perfect hobbit hideaway”
+Absolutely amazing little get away, so calm and peaceful tucked away in the side of the hills. Sue the host was so friendly and helpful, made our stay even better. The views were amazing, we spent hours looking out. The inside of the hobbit hole was beautiful, everything you could need and welll furnished. Perfect little hobbit themed escape!

+Beautifully located and very spacious, everything you need was there and was all easy accessible. Very clean and very pretty inside. Can not fault the place one bit, We have recommended to freinds and they are booking for them selves. 10/10 no problems or faults what so ever.

“A Hidden Gem”
+Maes Oaken is an absolute gem of a find! It's comfy and well thought out, in an amazing little spot on the hillside. It had everything we needed for the 3 nights we were there. The field the cabin is located in is secure and our dogs had a great time exploring at their leisure, whilst we could relax knowing they were safe. Communication from the owner was great, answering our queries and sending all the self- check in details before we arrived, and sent us a brief message mid-stay just to check we were happy and to see if we needed anything. We'd definitely go back and stay again.

“Loved it!”
+Stayed the day after Christmas Day, was a nice touch that they provided a free days worth of wood. We didn’t really think it through about the supplies as it is totally off grid. You can purchase wood at farm shops close by they seemed to be better priced and value than the supermarkets. Soon warms the place up with the stove, we loved it as did the dog! Cooked all our meals on it. 😍 Really lovely secluded position, yet accessible roads. Sofa could do with a footstool or being slightly larger to relax on. Take some good reading. Stunning views. Everything you expect with off grid living. Water was lovely and hot, fab shower etc. It really is a lovely little place to stay.
